  • Conditional or Unconditional Salvation?

    in Christianity

    In order to get a full understanding if salvation is conditional or unconditional, we must observe whether or not the LORD has set forth conditions for salvation in His Word. One clear and honest read through the Word will reveal conditions given by God to His creation. For example, in the Garden of Eden we read the first condition given to man; "And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." {Gen.2:16-17} The Garden was a free gift from God to His creation {Man}. Adam did nothing to deserve this perfect paradise. Yet there was something he had to do to remain in the paradise of God – obey. Please Join brothers Todd and James this week for this in depth series on the "Lie of the Ages."

    True Church False Church Part Three

    in Christianity

    When Christians gather Christ is to be the center of their focus and not a Sr. Speaker. The presence of Jesus Christ should be the drawing force and not a mere man or His teaching. Because the presence of Christ and the power of the Spirit in no longer present in these false churches many are flocking to a personality, a stream of ear tickling doctrines, or to a nice facility. The New Testament knows nothing of 45min. sermons delivered by one man. It knows nothing of fancy facilities, praise teams, paid staff, nurseries, youth groups, ushers, greeters, valet parking, bookstores, or any other foolishness as we see in our day. Nor do we see the slightest hint that scripture would promote such diabolical practices. {2Cor. 6:17}

    A clear sign of True Church is that people meet with Jesus every single time they gather in HIS name. However, in our day many are meeting in the name of an institution {Legacy Church, Calvary, Presbyterian, Methodist, Baptist, etc} and  are more concerned with meeting with other “Christians” and seeking a Sunday fix of feeling good. This is not only a clear sign that Christ is no longer the center of these false churches, but a clear sign that its all about them and not Christ. God forbid! that such foolishness continue in the name of Jesus or in the name of “Church”. The simplicity of Christ and True Church are found here in Matthew"For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them." (Matthew 18:20)

    Term Life or Whole Life "Protected For Life"

    in Christianity

    Is your life insurance policy enough coverage to protect your family? Most don't have the type of Protection that is needed to secure and assure them of permanent protection. Psalms 121 reveals God's protection over His people and gives us the assurances needed as we journey in this life. His promises are secure and His Book is eternal according to Rev 21:27. Minister Carnita Smith will review your policy with the promises of His Word.

    God’s World from God’s Perspective

    in Christianity

    Activation in the seed truth that is in every truly born again “new creature.” We’ve been given “the ministry of reconciliation” and the “word of reconciliation,” that is, His saints who are also Christ’s very “ambassadors.” (2 Cor. 5:17-20)

    In order to perfectly fulfill His will, Christ's saints must be possessed with a full counsel view of God and His creation from His perspective. There are no shortcuts to studying and learning His counsel, His Precepts which communicate His very "heart." When we begin to perceive the universe as from our Maker’s perspective, it’s going to transform our view and the mission we are sent to accomplish. The LORD told us that the very "thoughts of his heart" are recorded in His written counsel to us:

    "The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations." Ps 33:11

    Jesus is trying to get us to stop and to see things from the Father's perspective when He states in the end of His discourse on loving our neighbor that we are to be "perfect." (Matt 5:44-48) The Greek word for "perfect" is teleios which is defined as "growth, mental and moral character, completeness, full age (maturity)." The LORD is maturing the perspective of His saints - teaching them His nature and ways, therefore transforming the way they view the world and fallen men around them. Pour prayerfully over our LORD's words recorded in Matt 5:44-48.

    Our prayer is that God's people would be activated in doing what is already in them. As they are following Jesus, He has put His will inside of them which He stated to be seeking and saving that which was lost (Lk 19:10). This is His overriding desire to restore men back to full and complete relationship and the very and stated reason the Father sent His only begotten Son (Jn 17:3).
