Talking Motorcycles with Jared Mees/Jeff Gordon/AMA Rookie Class of '79

    in Sports

In this edition of Talking Motorcycles with Barry Boone we preview the legendary Springfield Mile II! Our guest lineup for this episode is epic!

Charlie Roberts and Scott Parker join us to discuss the AMA Rookies Class of 79 and Friends' involvement in the Springfield Mile II event on Labor Day weekend. They have an amazing weekend of activities planned and we hear all about it.

Jeff Gordon, of Speedway Engine Development Inc, will be calling in to discuss their high-profile win at the Don Tilley Memorial AMA Pro Grand National at Charlotte and his thoughts on the team's approach to the Springfield Mile II. As engine builder, Jeff works closely with Rick Howerton on the Howerton Motorsports/Villa-Esparza/Crosley Radio Kawasaki ridden by National #42 Bryan Smith.

Jared Mees retains the point lead by a narrow six-point margin over Bryan Smith following his disappointing DNF at Charlotte. It was a near mirror image of the results from Harley-Davidson Flat Track at ESPN X-Games Austin. Chasing down Bryan Smith there was a shower of sparks from the tailpipe of the Las Vegas HD/Rogers Racing XR750 ending his race one lap short of completition. Now as the team approaches the Springfield Mile II and the balance of the season, what shall be his strategy? The reigning 2014 AMA Pro GNC1 champion joins us LIVE on the show!

Talking Motorcycles is powered by SOZO!

Special thanks to: Crosley Radio/Crosley Brands, The Harley-Davidson Motor Company, Dunlop Motorcycle Tire and Next Moto Champion!

    in Spirituality

    Vaccine Awareness and TRUTHS...

Jessica and I will be interviewing Dr. Murdoch Acupunturist Physician who has traveled the world lecturing on the TRUTH of vaccines. He has lots of great information that you need to hear. Some will SHOCK you!!

One of my own children almost died from a vaccanation at 2 weeks old. I have seen LOTS of children in my readings either become very ill, become autistic or die from vaccinations.

The new higher vibration children like Blue Rays and Rainbows can not tolerate vaccines.

They now give more vaccaines than ever before and is mandatory in California. Vaccinations are a MULTI - BILLION dollar industry.

Bio of Robert Murdoch, Acupuncture Physician Born in Sherwood Forest, Robert grew up as third of six children. His childhood was fraught with illness: asthma, chronic bronchitis, hay fever allergies, and eczema. He had several rounds of antibiotics each year, daily steroid creams, and many inhaler applications each day. It was at the age of 21 that he tried acupuncture. With each month of treatment he noticed less inflammation, and easier breathing. In 1983 he started in acupuncture college. He completed his advanced training in 1990, and came to the United States. He has been on faculty at 4 colleges, and senior clinical supervisor at one of those.

He is the author of three books, and leads cleansing courses here and in Europe. He has been in practice for 29 years.

In that time he has helped thousands of people with their aches and pains, their mindsets and upsets, reproductive systems, upper and lower respiratory tracts, digestive function, their skin, their hormones, and their cardiovascular health.

Life Lessons from Overparenting children in school....get out of their way

    in Lifestyle

Have you ever done your children's homework for them? Have you driven to school to drop off an assignment that they forgot? Have you done a college student's laundry? What about coming along to Junior's first job interview?

These examples are drawn from two new books — How to Raise an Adult by Julie Lythcott-Haims and The Gift of Failure by Jessica Lahey. Both are by women writing from their experience as parents and as educators. Lahey is a middle school teacher and a writer for The New York Times and The Atlantic; Lythcott-Haims was the longtime freshman dean at Stanford.

The books make strikingly similar claims about today's youth and their parents: Parents are "too worried about [their children's] future achievements to allow [them] to work through the obstacles in their path"
