When you hear the name "Jesse James," badass is what comes to mind. Handsome, devilish, and, well, a murderer, as it turns out. The good news: we have our very own Jesse James as the Vice President of Community Management over at Booktrope, and he's both handsome and devilish, but thankfully, not a homicidal kind of guy. If you ask around among Booktropers, Jesse is both a savior of lost books, vanquisher of publishing doubts, and a valiant of writer's hopes and dreams. If you ask Jesse...well, listen in, and you'll find out more about this rare human who prefers to woo (and unwoo) emotionally unavailable vampires, hang out with knuckleheaded 10 year olds, and dream about adventures that involve skateboards and time zombies.

Matthew 22:1 And Jesus answered and spake unto them again by parables, and said,
2 The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son,
3 And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.
4 Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.
5 But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise:
6 And the remnant took his servants, and entreated them spitefully, and slew them.
7 But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.
8 Then saith he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.
9 Go ye therefore into the highways, and as many as ye shall find, bid to the marriage.
Actor James Wilder drops by to discuss his new film 3 Holes and a Smoking Gun, a fascinating thriller about screenplay mania. Wilder excels as a duplicitous, washed-up Hollywood screenwriter in this unusual indy gem. The Red Dirt International Film Festival named Wilder Best Lead Actor for his performance, and the film also won the prestigious Grand Jury Prize at the same festival as well as Best Screenplay honors at L.A.’s Downtown Film Festival and Best U.S. Narrative Film of 2014 at the Laughlin International Film Festival. Wilder portrayed an ambitious lawyer in TV’s Equal Justice, a drug-dealing seducer in “Melrose Place,” and a demonic serial killer in the acclaimed movie Murder One.
His other film and TV credits include: Scorchers, Perfume, Mind Games, Man of the Year, Flypaper, Nevada and The Coriolis Effect. Bitten by the showbiz bug early, Wilder was performing his one-man show in Paris at the age of 14. Later, he studied at New York’s famous Actors Studio and appeared in Broadway’s Sugar Babies as well as with Ed Asner in the ABC Theater presentation Cracked Up. Wilder’s artistic interests go beyond the realm of acting. He is also a creative architect and designer.

This evening on WREP “We Are Everyday People” Tuesday 3/24 7pm…after a well needed break and sifting tides, I am bringing the show back. I’d like for you to call in and tell me why you believe I am so far out there, or to tell me how you feel me when I say that so many others are so far “in” there. Tune in. You believe television is simply entertainment? Or that the attempt is to systematically program us into our current state. I’d love to talk with a school teacher of officer of the peace. You don’t have to indentify yourself if you’d prefer not to.
I will have on live as my “everyday person”, a very conscientious brother from Madison, WI via Chicago, IL…for the second time, Bro Jesse Evans.
Keeping Up with Cookie Tookie. Ask the PR Team anything. Have your questions ready, keep them short and simple. Oh, and I just got word Samantha James herself will swing by the Playground. Show starts a 9pm est.
