It has been said that man can’t live on chocolate alone, but woman sure can. I don’t know who actually said that, but I’m certain there is some truth to it. Another truth is that far more many women experience chocolate cravings than men. Why do women crave chocolate more than men? Does it even matter? Really. Just bring it on. So to the listeners of Jersey Coastal Live, I present you Jersey Girl Chocolate. Thanks to Steve Swanbeck, we Jersey Girls have our own chocolate which will leave your taste buds in a blissful state. “I felt the name conjured up a very positive image of women in New Jersey,” says founder Steve Swanbeck, who in 2006 launched the business. “And many female customers like the name, especially those who grew up in the state. I wanted to make the greatest chocolate in the world named after the greatest women in the world,” he says. Famous chocolate lover Lucy Van Pelt of Peanuts fame, says “All I really need is love, but a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt.” Lucy, you are right on the money! To satisfy our inevitable cravings, Jersey Girl premium chocolate offers everything we might need including Dark Chocolate, Milk Chocolate, Peanut Butter and Milk Chocolate, and Crispy Milk Chocolate. Heaven in a foil wrapper, right? The chocolate is available throughout the Garden State and naturally at several locations at the Jersey Shore. And Jersey Boys love it too! After the interview, please check After Hours at Jersey Coastal Live for additional information.

Ever since we can remember, the girl scouts have always sold cookies and the boy scouts did not.
