John Arthur Wooden received a B.S. from Tennessee State University and Master’s from Webster University. After serving twenty-one years in the U.S. Air Force, John retired as Major and now works as a Project Manager and Technical Writer with a defense contractor. He is a feature writer and columnist with the Perspective magazine in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
In 2005, he released his second book, A Moment of Justice, A Lifetime of Vengeance, a novel that introduced the world to FBI Special Agent Kenny “KC” Carson and surprised many with his storytelling abilities. An Eye for a Deadly Eye, released in 2008, is John’s third novel and the second in the Kenny Carson
Novelist, freelance journalist, and hopeless romantic, Reese Ryan, is a native of The Cleve (refer to her favorite 30 Rock episode for clarification). She lived in Northeast Ohio most of her life mainly because of the endless supply of fresh water; the vibrant arts and cultural scene; and one of the most amazing symphonies in the world. Reese now lives in Central North Carolina where she basks in the ubiquitous sunshine while enjoying the state’s many green spaces, and dodging the inordinate number of decidedly bad drivers (most of whom have migrated from other states). A self-proclaimed Bohemian Southern Belle, she treads the line carefully between being a Northerner and a damned Yankee despite her insistence on calling soda pop. Her debut novel, Making the First Move, will be published by Carina Press on July 22, 2013. She is currently planning Book 2 of her 2-book deal with Carina Press and writing a romantic thriller. Once her head stops spinning, Reese will focus on polishing two other completed manuscripts and finding the right home for them.
Billy Ray, screenwriter, director. Billy Ray is the screenwriter of “Captain Phillips.” He also wrote and directed the films “Shattered Glass” and “Breach”, and co-wrote the screenplay for “The Hunger Games”. Billy began writing for movies and television at the age of 19. He sold his first script, an episode of “The Jetsons” in 1984. He has written numerous feature films and was one of the creators and writers of the science fiction show "Earth 2". Since 2009, he’s been a member of the Writers’ Guild of America’s Board of Directors. He was nominated by the Chicago Film Critics Association for Most Promising Filmmaker and he also was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award for Best Screenplay for his work on "Shattered Glass" his story about a reporter who invented his stories. Bill served as a Producer for the SYFY Channel Original Movies, “Fire From Below” and “Camel Spiders. He co-wrote and produced Gila.
