Tonight we will chat with several of the authors of TERROR TRAIN and publisher James Ward Kirk. Joining us tonight are Alex S. Johnson, Jeremy Mays, Jim Goforth, Lori R. Lopez, Mary Genevieve Fortier, Stuart Keane and Tony Bowman.
The Terror Train rides, from city to city, from village to village, through states, across rivers and mountains. If only it could tell its tales of grisly murder, of demonic pacts, black holes into different dimensions and portals to other realms where the ghosts of train robbers hunt in perpetuity for that elusive bullion filled carriage that cost them their immortal souls. Behold the terrors the train has witnessed, see firsthand the horrors it has lived through and when you get on board, pray, pray you've entered the right one, on the right track, the one that does not lead to oblivion...
Terror Train contains stories by new and established authors, with a guest story by William F. Nolan. All aboard!

Jeremy Breslau, writer and director of "1982," earned his MFA in screenwriting from USC. While there, in addition to writing and directing award-winning shorts, his screenplay, "Plague Season," was a semi-finalist in the Nicholl Competition. Based on his Nicholl script, Fox Searchlight signed Jeremy to a first-look deal and produced his next short, after which he created a successful web series for MTV’s AtomFilms. Currently, Jeremy is developing two features that will utilize the talents of the team behind "1982."
"1982' features a blocked novelist who reflects on a pivotal year in his life, when, as a precocious six-year-old, he struggled for the attention of his bickering parents.

The San Francisco 49ers stymied Philadelphia's potent offensive attack and had a late goal-line stand, holding off the Eagles 26-21 to hand them their first loss of the season on Sunday.
The Eagles (3-1), who had picked up just five first downs prior to their second-to-last offensive drive, moved the chains six times on that march and crossed midfield for the first time at the 4:57 mark of the fourth.
Philly faced 3rd-and-goal from the 1-yard line, but consecutive incompletions by Nick Foles essentially sealed the outcome. The Birds tallied 90 of their 213 total yards on the drive.

Join us Monday, 9/29 at 7:00 pm as we celebrate icon guitarist Peter White's 14th solo album Smile is set for release October 7, 2014 via Concord, benefits from White’s jazz/rock sensibilities and skill as a programmer. “Holding Me Closer” flies with its contemporary synth feel and uplifting lyrics. While he may be best known for electric parts with Stewart, here he returns to his fabled nylon. His acoustic is never overshadowed by his production, however, as Smile boasts a clean, evocative feel.
Marianne SolivanMarianne Solivan is quickly becoming one of the most buzzed about jazz singers on the New York scene, Marianne Solivan does not remember an “ah-ha” moment that brought her to the music she has devoted herself to: “I don’t recall having a big moment that made me like jazz. I just dug it.”
It is that same simplicity of statement with its intrinsic honesty that characterizes Solivan’s style. The infallible swing of Ella, the daring of Betty Carter, the matter-of factness of Carmen McRae…They can all be found in the voice of Marianne Solivan, whom trumpeter Jeremy Pelt has called “the modern-day paradigm to which all singers should aspire.”
It is no coincidence that the 2009 Jazzmobile Vocal Competition finalist has graced recital halls, jam sessions and club stages with such noted musicians as Roy Hargrove, Steve Lacy, Jeremy Pelt, Ray Gallon (Ron Carter, Art Farmer, Lionel Hampton, T.S. Monk), Ugonna Ukegwo (Tom Harrell, Jacky Terrason) and Jane Monheit’s sidemen Neal Minor and Michael Kanan.
Which Side is a podcast by Jordan Halliday and Jeremy Parkin covering news and everything from a vegan and anarchist perspective.
We talk to scott crow author of Black Flags and Windmills and co-founder of Common Ground Collective. We discuss individual anarchism, veganism and in general just get schooled/enlightened.
For the Week 5 recap podcast Jeremy is joined by Matthew K. to go over the latest action of Mountain West football. Well, we don't know much more than we did the week prior. Boise State gets outplayed by Air Force, but is it a one-game slip up or have the Broncos fallen of of its perch from being the feared team they have been accustomed to over the past decade.
Besides going through all of the games we attempt to make a decision on who is the best team in the league this year. This year the Mountain West has no clear frontrunners on a collision course to meet in the Mountain West title game, but now there are multiple teams in each division that can make the case to be the best team.
