Novelli, Singleton & New Music Jeff Jensen

    in Music

Peter Novelli’s journey to Roots and Blues began in Syracuse NY of all places. Starting to play the violin at 4, he eventually picked up a guitar. From a young age, Novelli listened to and learned blues and R&B from Baton Rouge, New Orleans and Texas.
After opening a show for Buckwheat Zydeco, Novelli was pulled down to his current home, New Orleans and continued to develop his sound.
His new album, LOUISIANA roots & blues is a wonderful follow-up to his debut album.  I will chat with peter and talk about his journey as we listen to his music.
When Jarekus Singleton was 12 he was a benchwarmer for the basketball team he played for.  Changing teams the next year, he won the Newcomer Of The year Award and helped his team get to the nationals.  He then went on to play in high school and college.
How did he go from playing basketball and working to get on an NBA roster to just performing at the IBC for the third time?
I will chat with Jarekus about that and more as we listen to music from his latest, Heartfelt.
Then Couch Kid, Jeff Jensen returns with his brand new album and this will be the world premiere of Road Worn and Ragged.  I am extremely honored and to share this new music with the world!

    Jeff Chaponick, CEO of MACRecruiters.com

    in Jobs

This was a great show. And it almost didn't happen. Jeff, the guest, had an emergency he had to attend to and cancelled a couple of hours before the show. He was, however, able to get it done ahead of time and return to the show at the last minute. That's what I'm talking about in the intro.
