S07/E02: "A Little Bit Of Dis, A Little Bit Of Dat & A Little Bit A Everythin'!"

    in Politics Progressive

A lot has been happening politically on Capitol Hill and all across America since November 2014.

We'll be speaking on a variety of topics ranging from the Trans-Pacific Partnership Trade Agreement, Comprehensive Immigration Reform, Republicans wanting to cut Social Security, the Keystone XL Pipeline Deal, Women's Rights, Gay Marriage and everything you can think of under the sun. The mic is yours friends. Call in and speak your mind as we take your calls and talk about burning issues of the day and how it affects us.

What's been happening in YOUR State! What drives your passion for politics and what do you want to see happen as America moves forward into the 21st Century. Will Democrats be spineless or will they take the fight to Republicans?

Honorable mention & greetings go out to the following who are doing a STAND OUT job representing their constituents:

Senators: Elizabeth Warren (Massachusetts), Al Franken (Minnesota), Corey Booker (New Jersey), Tammy Baldwin (Wisconsin), Bernie Sanders (Vermont), Jeanne Shaheen (New Hampshire), Bill Nelson (Florida), Debbie Stabbenow (Michigan), Kirsten Gillibrand (New York) and Ed Markey (Massachusetts)

Congress: Nancy Pelosi (California), Linda & Loretta Sanchez (California), Alan Greyson (Florida), Kathy Castor (Florida), John Lewis (Georgia), Tammy Duckworth (Illinois), Donna Edwards (Maryland), Steny Hoyer (Maryland), Sander Levin (Michigan) and Nita Lowey (New York)

They effectively lead the way against Right Wing extremism.

There was a lot of commenting on the major “apocalypsings” (unveilings) going on right now. The title of this could have been, “The Unveilings of the Stink-piles”, which is one side of the whole deal. We also talked about the many soldiers who are putting down their arms, whether it’s rifles, drones, or harsh words.

The hilarity of the “White House drone” was pointed out, especially as it came right after Dr. Stuart Jeanne Bramhall’s post, “Hundreds of Drone Operators Quit Air Force“. Supposedly, Mr. Obama is a “drone guy”. So maybe the Eternal’s “payback” is, “Hey… you like to use drones? Against other peoples? Well, here’s one for you… right in your own backyard.”

Also, it was pointed out that we are in an amazing time right now. The collection of Lightworkers on the planet is broad, and varied in type, age, backgrounds, etc. But we’re all here to help carry through this planetary transition.

Service Dog Welfare - Experts in Service Dog industry express concern.

    in Pets

Experts in the service dog industry, Jeanne Hampl and Darcie Boltz share their perspective on a family highlighted with Matt Lauer who have a service dog for their small child.  Can we expect a young child to know how to properly handle a dog by herself?  During the interview the dog showed signs of stress that the general public wouldn't recognize, but had the dog industry ignite - like panting and yawning.  This interview brings up a larger topic of service dog welfare that gets lost in the "feel-good" stories, like this, that get ignorantly run in the media all the time.  My question is:  WHAT ABOUT THE DOG?

ZEOLA GAYE - EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW- TUES, DEC 16 2014 - 7:00 PM PST

    in Music

Superstar singer, Marvin Gaye's baby sister, Zeola Gaye, sets the record straight about her big brother's incredible life and tragic death. It includes a Foreword by Grammy Award Winner, Carlos Santana and shocking excerpts from a letter handwritten by Marvin, himself. This is a must-read tell all for any Marvin Gaye fan or music enthusiast.

Zeola was a large part of Marvin’s life, working with him on tour in many capacities, as well as singing background on his hit “Got To Give It Up,” and performing as one of his dancers on his European and U.S. tours.

Zeola served as personal assistant to her brother on his last tour “Midnight Love.” She spent most of her time with Marvin, during his ups and downs after his tour ended in 1983, until his untimely demise.

Zeola’s credits include writing and co-producing the successful stage play, My Brother Marvin. She is currently collaborating with her sister, Jeanne Gaye on the stage play My Brother Marvin II.

    ZEOLA GAYE

“My Brother Marvin, a Memoir by Zeola Gaye” is Zeola’s new book about life with Marvin, and is long overdue—twenty seven years to be exact. Zeola felt that she and her family could no longer live with all of the rumors and inaccuracies that have been written or taped in documentaries about her brother and her family.

Finally Zeola has written the true untold story, and is setting the record straight about her brother Marvin.

Fans around the world who loved and appreciated Marvin and his music, will appreciate the book, “My Brother Marvin, a Memoir by Zeola Gaye,” written by, and from the heart of his sister.
Brace yourself for an introspective ,,,,,,,,,
