With two weeks left to go in the season, the Dallas Cowboys find themselves in familiar and equally frustrating territory. After losing two games in a row and with two games left in the regular season, one must wonder if we're about to see the last of Jason Garrett...regardless of how much Jerry has backed him up (He backed up Wade too, remember?) Tommy Smith, founder and director of The Rattle Hum Sports, will break down the match up with me and analyze what's to come for the Dallas Cowboys.
Rattle and Hum Sports Talk: The Dallas Cowboys are off to their best start under head coach Jason Garrett
Hosted by Bryan Houston with guest Matthew Postins
RattleandHumSports.com host Bryan Houston welcomes Dallas Cowboys writer Matthew Postins to talk about the Cowboys 38-17 victory over the New Orleans Saints Sunday night.
The win gives the Cowboys a two game winning streak, moving them off the .500 line, and a 3-1 record which marks the team's best start to a season while Jason Garrett has been at the helm.
Have the Cowboys committed to being the running team many thought they needed to be this season?
What are the major influences that have lead to the balance on offense?
The Cowboys have overachieved defensively, but are now facing the loss of Morris Claiborne for the season and Bruce Carter indefinately. Will the unit come back to earth or will Rob Miranelli continue to get the best out of the guys he has available?
Is it time to adjust the perception of this team, or is this good start to 2014 still too small of a sample to jump to any conclusions?
Join Bryan and Matthew LIVE tonight at 8:30 PM CDT to discuss!

Bio by Alonzo Garrett... When I was 7 years of age, my father was sentenced to 12 ½ to twenty five years in prison for armed robbery. I always knew who he was to me, I just thought it was natural for fathers to not be around. I rarely saw him when he was out of prison but he did make sure I knew who he was. My mother was brutally murdered when I was 8 years old by her friend who was going through a psychotic episode; she was stabbed through her heart with a butcher knife while my infant baby brother lay 2 feet from her. I lived in foster care for the next 2 years until my maternal grandmother took custody of me. From the ages of 10 - 15 years, I lived and worshiped as a Jehovah Witness; my grandmother was a devout follower until she died in the year 1999. At 15 years of age, I ran away and rarely visited her. I stayed in school and managed to graduate from high school and also went to college for a few months all on my own. I’ve sold drugs off and on for the past 20 years or so on the mean streets of New York City; currently, I have turned my back on drug dealing and all other negativity associated with it. Throughout my time selling drugs, I acquired multiple felony convictions and I was incarcerated for 6 years of my life. Today, I live my life in a more positive manner, I plan to use my books to influence and perhaps turn people away from that life style. I have a multitude of stories to tell and all my stories have the ring of truth from what I am told. My work is fiction and no story that I write is in any way a true event.

Tonight on Alchemist Radio we’ll review this past weekend’s plethora of MMA including Titan FC 30 and UFC 178.
Vinny Magalhaes stepped inside the Titan FC Hexagon for the very first time on Friday night and walked out with a shiny new title around his waist. Magalhaes and Jason Brilz battled back and forth for three rounds, but early on in the fourth round, Magalhaes landed a head kick and then cinched in a fight ending guillotine choke to become the Titan FC light heavyweight champion.
Eddie Gordon is back and after some serious campaigning, the Freeport native got his wish and will be competing against Josh Samman at UFC 181 in December. Gordon was excited about the prospects of competing on the same card as his friend and teammate, UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman, but because of an injury, Weidman vs Vitor Belfort was pushed back a few months. Gordon has been preparing for a fight for weeks now in the hopes he would get the call from the UFC at anytime.
Tune in at 7pm EST/4pm PST.
