americans have superman, batman, wonder woman and many others so ian fleming came up with james bond. hero that came from the uk and he is a under cover agent that works for the queen and has orders to kill if he has to. but there alot things that people wish they could be bond like his cars, the women and also the missions. so far 5 actors play james bond. and they all became famous and look and some of the famous singers who have to there theme songs. like tina turner goldfinger and famous uk singer adele skyfall. but who can't forget the famous opening the famous theme song hits and we james come on the screen. one of my favorite james bond movies is goldfinger i can watch that one over and over. but u ever thought that americans got the idea of knight rider from james bond. the guy driving the car that has all the toys and it talks. plus a woman who makes all the toys or knight and kitt like q did for james bond. james bond is the famous hero in the uk and has lots of books out there from ian fleming. and lots of movies and other one in the works with daniel craig he is coming back to play bond again. but give the show a call and talk about your favorite actor who play bond or favorite bond movie.
As “secret agents” go, it seems to me, James Bond will always be considered the most recognizable in modern cinema. I’ve often wondered if author Ian Fleming somehow knew, his brand of espionage thriller, would be so successful on film. In this first of three “Bond” broadcasts, we’ll discuss “James Bond” and the actors who have played him. The second installment will focus on the “Woman”, and the third on the “Music”; both elements helped in the making of this movie franchise’s mystique.
Barbara and James explore the question of just who was Shakespeare.
On Tuesday night July 28th at 8 pm est James Luse and I will be doing a blog talk radio show on the question "Who the heck was Shakespeare" . There are many opinions on this from one very talented man who wished to be anonymous to a group or perhaps several or even the work of many. The bulk and scope of his work and the fact that there are no hand written manuscripts also not to mention that the Stratford man's parents and children were all illiterate does seem to beg the question. Call in and give your opinion or just listen to the facts and questions and make up your own mind.
Back in January during International Blues Challenge Week in Memphis, a silent auction was held during the Tuesday Night Tas Cru Jam to benefit Generation Blues.
Don Hudson cast the winning bid and his prize was to co-host Music On The Couch and also select two guests to have on the show that evening.
Don’s choices are James Armstrong and John Nemeth. Both are Couch Kids, so I was excited to bring them back.
Don will be joining me in chatting with James and John about what they have been up to since they each appeared on the show and we will play music from James’ album, Guitar Angel and John’s latest Memphis Grease.
Join us for what shapes up to be an evening of laughs and great music.
Tune in this week with your host SIN JONES for a round table discussion with James D. Hale founder of the former Church of IV Majesties responsible for a media whirlwind in Oklahoma City, when his group scheduled a mock-exorcism at the Civic Center in 2010. The group dismantled shortly thereafter but still enjoys trolling the locals. Now-a-days James is busy forming a local Biker group that is open to Satanists among its ranks. We will be discussing the event from his point of view, addressing criminal accusations, his recent interview for the documentary film The Real Enemy and what the media attention amounted to for personal gain. James is a writer, local rabble rouser and the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. His 14 year old daughter received some local media attention when she called out a local school for discrimination against Satanists.
