On today's show I'll be flying solo wiyh a sixty-minute sprint that will cover everything from James Bond, the weather, to net neutrality. As “secret agents” go, it seems to me, James Bond will always be considered the most recognizable in modern cinema. I’ve often wondered if author Ian Fleming somehow knew, his brand of espionage thriller, would be so successful on film. In this first of three “Bond” broadcasts, we’ll discuss “James Bond” and the actors who have played him. The second installment will focus on the “Woman”, and the third on the “Music”; both elements helped in the making of this movie franchise’s mystique.
If you are a James Bond fan, you better tune in Tuesday's Kicking It With Tony show on Blogtalk Radio. Colin Clark is coordinator of the Ian Fleming Foundation, which preserves the legacy of James Bond, aka, 007. He will be on our show to talk about the James Bond film series, the actors who portrayed James Bond, and behind-the-scenes stories in making the film. You don't want to miss this one!
Also, we will talk about Tony's battle with Wegener's Granulomatosis, and educate the public on this terrible disease.
Tune in March 5 at 7 p.m. PT.
Hr1 Liberals are demanding a black James Bond, really?!
Michael Hausam talks about all the current craziness hitting the news... LGBTQ's forcing the issue on those who don't agree. Does religious freedom still exist?
Talking high school locker room memories in context of today's transgender reality.
Hr2 Don't even try to tell me Christianity is the same as Islam when it comes to treatment of gays. What Christian nation throws gays from buildings?
Nate Imhoff talks sports and the Tom Brady suspension following DeflateGate. Judge says punishment was too big for the crime. What crime? There are laws about footballs?
Hr3 Teen boy charged with having naked pictures of a minor on his cell phone... of himself!?!
Caitlyn Jenner wants to apply for golf membership at a club as Bruce. Confusion ensues.
Atheist activists lost a major years-long battle this week over the so-called Big Mountain Jesus statue commemorating WWII veterans.
Have you had your healthy dose of reality lately?
There are always at least two sides to every story. Have you ever wondered how someone, who saw the same thing you did, walked away telling a vastly different story? Which version was correct? Which one was the REAL story? Actually, both are! It’s just a matter of perspective.
Joe takes the issues… especially the controversial issues (politics, prejudice, religion, illegal immigration)… and brings in people from different sides to share their viewpoint. This is definitely not a fluff piece. And while no one is attacked, the questions are hard-hitting.
Pope Francis provides the best of life lessons with his "live and let live" spirit, with the boldness of James Bond.
