Bishop John Lewis II is a preacher, evangelist, teacher, psalmist, and founder of New Life Christian Ministries.
He accepted his calling to the ministry at the 15. He was born in Chicago, Illinois to the late Deacon John L. Davis Sr. & Evangelist Yvonne. A. Wilson-Davis.
Bishop Davis is a forth generation apostolic Pentecostal. Nurtured in the Word from birth at the Deliverance Temple Church of the Apostolic Faith under the leadership of his grandfather, Bishop Harry R. Wilson, Sr. and his uncle Bishop Harry R. Wilson, Jr.
As a result of his training and call from God, Bishop Davis have founded several churches, New Life the Alpha Assembly (Chicago) New Life the Zion Assembly (Dallas) and New Life the grace Assembly (Tyler).
Bishop Davis was consecrated a Bishop in the Open Arms International Ministries and appointed the position as diocesan Bishop of Foreign Territories which covers over 410 churches in east and west Africa.
On August 24, 2008, Pastor Davis was appointed Assistant Presiding Prelate of Open Arms International Ministries (Worldwide).
Pastor Davis has traveled throughout the United States, Canada, Jamaica and England.
Therefore, his translucent teaching style honors the wondrous works of the Lord.
