A lot of research is being done in immunotherapy for myeloma that is leading to new treatment options for patients. Dr. Ivan Borrello of John Hopkins is working on a completely, novel approach. This involves enhancing white blood cells to create a customized immunotherapy for patients. The T-cells from the patient's bone marrow are extracted, enhanced, and expanded in the lab, and are given back to the patient, allowing for a more specific immune response targeting the proteins found on their myeloma cells. The use of bone marrow T cells is more precise than the use of cells from the blood which makes this therapy more effective. Join our myeloma panel talk on this new area of research, as they discuss the difference between CAR-T cells and MILs (marrow infilterating lymphocytes), and how body's natural immune cell growth can be used to fight myeloma.

Black Scholars You Should Know
Due to the pervasive influence of white supremacy all information pertaining to Melanated persons must be questioned. To be more specific, all history and knowledge that has been acquired from those who embrace this great white deception, must be examined and vetted. Enter the great Black scholars who have done just that.
Join Alex Primo and Asha Zuri Thursday, November 5 at 9 pm EST as we explore and discuss a few of our great Melanated brothers and sisters who researched, uncovered, and delivered priceless scholarly works that served to enlighten and edify those who were sleeping, in denial, or just didn't want to know. Works that demonstrate just how important the Black man has been to America and the world.
One such brother is Ivan van Sertima who wrote "They Came before Columbus." Showing that Africans reached the so called New World prior to Columbus.
Dr, Frances Cress Welsing who wrote "The Isis Papers" wherein she details how whites are fighting for their very survival due to their lack of dominant genes.
Dr. Yosef Ben-Jochannan who wrote 49 books which primarily detailed the significance of the Melanated man in Western cultures.
In addition to all of these brilliant scholars, brother Dennis Jefferson will be stopping by for another episode of Healthy Matters.
