I can live a happy and content life now. I've accomplished one of my lifetime goals in interviewing Italy Magazine on my little show. I'm excited beyond measure.
Georgette Jupe joined me to talk about Italy Magazine and why it's simply amazing. It is THE Italy resource, packed with glorious stories about all of Italy from Rome, Florence, and Venice to the nooks and crannies that all of us Italophiles yearn for everyday.
I remember when they were a printed magazine and I had them collected like prized novels on my bookshelf (still do). They've since gone green and are purely an online magazine to the benefit of us all. The content changes often, is packed with LOCAL insight, offers a community for all of us to tap into the collective braintrust of millions of readers and Italy experts, has a shop, and neatly organized content.
If you can't get enough of Italy Magazine at www.italymagazine.com be sure to follow them on all of their well managed, informed social network sites. You will discover a new Italy everyday.
Georgette Jupe has a great blog titled Girl in Florence. It is packed with awesome tips, insight, and a refreshing perspective about how to make the most of your time in Florence from where to get the best Moscow Mule, to a cup of tea, her favorite restaurants that you won't find on any other list, how to plan your trip before you get to Florence, what to do when you get there, impressive locals, and tons of travel tips.
We are cut from the same cloth in that we like to find hidden gems and share them with everyone. I challenge you to find one other site that will list any of the following:
1. Where to get a Moscow Mule in Florence
2. What's odd in Florence
3. Where to get a cup of Tea in Florence
4. A list of the best Pizza spots by a local
5. Ethnic (read not Italian) fare in Florence
6. Places that deliver food in Florence
7. Where to get the best Aperitivo in Florence
8. Where to enjoy Brunch in Florence
9. A list of WiFi Spots in Florence
10. A concise list of where else to travel in Italy by a local expert
This list could continue forever so I'll stop here and ask you to check out Girl in Florence yourself.
This is a great site that can't be missed if you want to get the most of your visit to one of the most amazing cities in the world.
