Kingdom of Hawai’i and takeover thereof… unveilings.

WORLD WIDE AFRICA THE VOICE OF THE PAN AFRICAN MOVEMENT

    in Politics

"The threat to American apartheid led by Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X in the ‘60s initiated a great democratic awakening, especially among young Black People.  This awakening was the de-nigerization of BlackPeople —the process of turning sacred, intimidated, helpless folk into bold, brave hopeful people willing to live and die for Black freedom.

The Black Panther Party was the most advanced organized effort to exemplify this awakening. In other words, it was the highest from of deniggerization in niggerized America. The Black Panther Party was the greatest threat to american apartheid because it was indigenous in composition, interracial in strategies and tactics, and international invasion and analysis.  It was indigenous in  that it spoke to the needs and hope of the local community, as can be seen in the historic Survival Program of the party.  It combined bread-and-butter issues of everyday people with democratic empowerment in the face of issues of everyday people with deep democratic empowerment in the face of an oppressive status quo.  It  was interracial in that it remained open ot stratigic alliances and tactical coalations with progressive brown, red, yellow and white activists.   And it was international in that it understood American apartheid in light of anti-imperial struggles around the world, especially in Asia, Africa, and Latin America.  the revolutionary politics of the Black Panther Party linked  the catastrophic conditions of local Black communities (with the disgraceful school systems, unavailable health and childcare, high levels of unemployment and underemployment, escalating rates of imprisonment, and pervasive from of self-hatred and self-destruction) to economic inequality in America and colonial or neocolonial realities in the capitalist world system. Needless to say this great awakening was too much for the american establishment." West

LOTL Radio Welcomes Adrian Younge Debuts new Album Something About April II

    in Music

In the four years since the release of Something About April, Adrian Younge has been coined America’s black genius: the evocation of analog vestige in a digital era. His majestic music has garnered him reverence, likened to Ennio Morricone’s best work and the Beatles’ tenacity to create new sounds. Making an indelible impression on modern vinyl heads and producers alike (having been sampled by DJ Premier, Jay-Z, Common, 50 Cent) theSomething About April brand is an axiom to the modern “Breakbeat,” and Linear Labs is happy to announce its successor: Something About April II.

Recorded with a collection of rare instruments, Something About April II advances Younge’s musical paradigm with enterprising concepts, and grander compositions, synthesizing the boundaries between dark American soul, and classic European cinema. This latest release features an array of entrancing vocalists:Laetitia Sadier (Stereolab) and Bilal, perform duets on “Step Beyond” and “La Ballade,” reminiscent of duets from Serge Gainsborg & Jane Birkin; Raphael Saadiqblends “Black Jazz” vocals with psychedelic soul on “Magic Music,” while Israeli star,Karolina, delivers haunting chants over concertos like “Hear my love” and “Winter is Here.” Long time Adrian Younge collaboratorLoren Oden croons as if the apparent ghost of Donnie Hathaway created one last love song with “Sandrine” and “Sittin’ by the Radio.”

Younge is the experimental spirit of the modernist vanguard, looking into the past to create the future. What this album extrapolates from vinyl culture, will become further magnified by its sampling down the line.Something About April II will replace the former as a holy grail for producers and collectors alike…

Jan. 26, 2016, 10pm (PST) - Crisis Actors and Conspiracies with James Fetzer

    in Paranormal

James Fetzer is a philosopher of science and conspiracy theorist. Since the late 1970s, Fetzer has worked on assessing and clarifying the forms and foundations of scientific explanation, probability in science, philosophy of mind, and philosophy of cognitive science, especially artificial intelligence and computer science.

In the early 1990s Fetzer began promoting John F. Kennedy assassination conspiracy theories, then later 9/11 conspiracy theories. He cofounded Scholars for 9/11 Truth in 2005, and claims that the United States government and the Israeli government are involved in these and other conspiracies. Fetzer's allegations and speculations have drawn strong criticism.

James is a former Marine. He's a graduate of Princeton (1962) Magna Cum Laude. He's also a large voice in investigating the usage of crisis actors in emergency situations. Crisis actors are supposedly professional actors used by government agencies and/or the mainstream media to deceive the public with portrayals of trauma and suffering. Specifically, they act as victims or witnesses in staged school shootings or hoax terrorist attacks. Needless to say, this sort of thing only actually goes on in the minds of denialists and conspiracy theorists.

Maafa 21: Why Unborn Black Lives Matter

    in Family

According to Merriam-Webster, eugenics is defined as a science that deals with the improvement (as by control of human mating) of hereditary qualities of a race or breed. Mark Crutcher produced a documentary called MAAFA21, which focuses on eugenics in the African-American community. The title comes from the Swahili term "Maafa", which means "tragedy" or "disaster", and is used to describe the centuries of oppression of African people, globally, during slavery, apartheid and colonial rule. "21" refers to the maafa of the 21st century. With the terminal disease rates within the African-American community, it almost seems to be expected that inevitably their fate should be tied in to a disease that is caused by diet or environment. Maafa21 seeks to prove that with the eugenics movement, African-Americans are being targeted even at an earlier point in life, straight from the womb. In honor of the annual March For Life, here is an encore presentation which explores this important documentary. Tune in to this segment of The Organic View Radio Show, as host, June Stoyer talks to Mark Crutcher to discuss Maafi21. Stay tuned!

Celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. - Dreaming the DREAM

    in Travel

The Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial lies along  the center line of leadership that extends from the Lincoln Memorial to the Jefferson Memorial on Washington's National Mall.   At 30 feet in height, the sculpture of MLK on the "stone of hope" is 11 feet talller than the statues of Lincoln and Jefferson.

In honor of Dr. King's birthday, we will revisit our coverage of the dedication of his Memorial in 2011.  Over a decade in the making, October 16, 2011 marked the official dedication of this historic Memorial in Washington, DC and the 16th anniversary of the Million Man March.  However, the original dedication date was set for August 28, 201, the 48th anniversary of King's "I Have A Dream" speech.  But, an earthquake in the mid-Atlantic and the untimely visit of Hurricane Irene forced a delay in the official ceremony.  Nonetheless, World Footprints covered all of the dedication events from August through October and today's show shares interviews from celebrities and news makers who participated in the celebrations.  Ambassador Andrew Young, Lalah Hathaway, Reverend Jesse Jackson, Rabbi Israel Dresner, and former Secretary of State Madeline Albright will offer their thoughts and memories about Dr. King.

From the official dedication we’ll share music and remarks on the National Mall from Archbishop Desmond TuTu, Stevie Wonder and America's first African-American President, Barak Obama.  From our perspective, watching President Obama walk past the Inscription Wall at the MLK Memorial to the dedication stage to honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., was incredibly powerful.

Behind the Headlines: Christmas in Syria – Interview with Eva Bartlett

    in News

This week on Behind the Headlines, we’re interviewing – for the second time – freelance journalist and human rights activist Eva Bartlett, who was on this show two months ago. Bartlett was aboard the Dignity, one of five Free Gaza relief operations to successfully sail to the Gaza Strip in 2008. She ended up staying in Gaza for some time, reporting from there during Israeli Operations ‘Cast Lead’ in 08/09, and ‘Pillar of Defense’ in 2012.

In the last couple of years, Bartlett has been one of the few Western journalists to report truthfully on the situation in Syria, a country she has visited several times, including independently on a journalist visa. Bartlett recently returned from spending 8 days over Christmas in the war-torn country, where she attended conferences, visited recently liberated districts, and met Syrian officials, religious and community leaders.

Listeners can find Eva’s writings on Syria and Palestine at her blog, InGaza.wordpress.com, and support her continuing work as a voice for the voiceless through SyriaSolidarityMovement.org.

We hope you'll join us from 2-4pm EST / 8-10pm CET, this Sunday 10th January 2016, for an account of life in Syria you won't hear anywhere else.
