The IRS has been sending out intimidating letters to tea party and 912 groups all over the country. Some of the questions are so vague that they are practically impossible to answer. A few questions are clear violations of first amendment rights to free speech and freedom of association.
The ACLJ has agreed to represent the tea party, 912, and other grassroot groups in this matter.
Congressman Bill Flores has sent a letter to the IRS demanding answers and to Chairman Issa requesting an investigation and hearings.
Join us tonight, and let us know what you think about the IRS intimidation on the tea party!
Join host, Bobby Keith, along with WTP President, Toby Marie Walker, as we discuss the news and hot topics of the day, from a conservative Tea Party perspective. Occasionally, we will have a surprise caller join us!

In the days following Rick Santelli’s rant on CNBC, 12 or so conservative activists, including former President GHW Bush White House speechwriter Michael Johns, were invited to participate in a strategic organizing Tea Party conference call moderated by Nashville-based, Stanford-educated conservative Michael Patrick Leahy. It was Leahy who earlier launched the now famous #tcot (Top Conservatives on Twitter) hashtag, where it remains today one of Twitter’s most commonly used hashtags and a key methodology for conservative communication.
In addition to his extensive private sector career, Michael also has served as a senior aide to former New Jersey Governor and 9/11 Commission Chairman Tom Kean (R-NJ), and as a senior United States Senate aide to U.S. Senator Olympia Snowe (R-ME). Michael began his career as a policy analyst at the globally-respected Heritage Foundation and as an editor of the foundation's scholarly magazine, Policy Review.
Tonight Michael Johns joins us with a look at the Tea Party then... and now.

On today's show I focus on the Republican function of the odious and horrid anti-Latino bigot, Steve King, Republican congressman from Iowa. His function, co-sponsored by the Tea Party, featured Republican presidential hopefuls who sought to pander to the white supremacist tastes of the Tea party and Steve King. But first I discuss how recently there were Pro-Life rallies across the nation and in Washington DC and I contrast that Pro-Life agenda and the commentary made by those rally attendees who remark that "Life is a gift" which is fully correct and compare that with the conduct and the remarks of the Culture of Death, among which is the Tanton network of anti-immigration and white supremacist organizations. Which leads us back to Steve King, who along with Jeff Sessions, Ted Cruz and Rand Paul are all ardent advocates of the Tanton Network and their anti-immigration agendas. It is shocking to me also that the Tea Party types claim to be "Pro-Life" while they take their guidance from the culture of death organization, Tanton Network, and use horrible terms like "anchor baby" and I've actually heard them say things like, "You can have your baby, just not here (in America). I go on to read an article by an author in Iowa who reports that Iowa no longer picks winners but only picks Republican losers since Steve King took the leadership there. I agree and am glad someone has pointed it out. In contrast, Jeb Bush stayed away from this function and continues to tout a campaign based upon CIR and Education Reform. I'm glad and point that no one running for President now, either GOP or Democrat is also doing so. I assert that the Bush campaign will serve as a fulcrum or wedge inside the GOP and will soon demonstrate which direction the GOP will go: With the Tea party and failure or away from them and back to the Latino embrace.
