Ep# 156 Youth Ministry Conversation--Youth Groups or Family Integrated
Welcome to G220 Radio! Here on the program we discuss a wide variety of topics from a biblical worldview, our goal is to be encouraging and edifying for believers while being convicting to unbelievers.
On this episode of G220 Radio we will be having a discussion between four brothers in Christ on the topic of Youth Groups or Family Integrated Ministry. We would not be telling the truth if we said there is no problem with the youth ministry that happens in many "churches" today. I doubt any of the guests would argue that there can be problems with youth ministry and programs designed for children. What about family integrated ministry, it has been around for a long, long time and some churches are family integrated or have moved towards it over the years.
Well tonight we get to listen as my guests will discuss this topic. Jason Marianna a good brother in the Lord, someone whom I just recently met at the Ohio Fire conference a little while back along with Michael Coughlin another good brother in the Lord whom I've been blessed to evangelize with out at the Ohio State football game not to long ago and member o the Striving for Eternity Ministry will be speaking on behalf of youth ministry.
Pastor Mike Waters of Heritage Reformed Baptist Church, a dear brother in the Lord, one whom I highly respect and enjoy listening to his sermons along with my Pastor Austin Hetsler of Christ the Rock Church, who is very near and dear to me, my pastor and friend, a brother in the Lord whom I have been blessed to minister alongside many times out on the streets will take the side of the family integrated model of ministry.
This should be a wonderful and gracious conversation between these men and we hope you will be blessed and encouraged by the program.
The time has come when a large portion of those who once rejoiced and shouted aloud for joy in view of the immediate coming of the Lord, are on the ground of the churches and the world who once derided them for believing that Jesus was coming, and circulated all manner of falsehoods to raise prejudice against them and destroy their influence. Now, if any one longs after the living God, hungering and thirsting for righteousness, and God gives him to feel His power, and satisfies his longing soul by shedding abroad His love in his heart, and if he glorifies God by praising Him, he is, by these professed believers in the soon coming of the Lord, often considered deluded, and charged with being mesmerized or having some wicked spirit. Many of these professed Christians dress, talk, and act like the world, and the only thing by which they may be known is their profession. Though they profess to be looking for Christ, their conversation is not in heaven, but on worldly things. "What manner of persons" ought those to be "in all holy conversation and godliness," who profess to be "looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God." 2 Peter 3:11, 12. "Every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as He is pure." 1 John 3:3. But it is evident that many who bear the name of Adventist study more to decorate their bodies and to appear well in the eyes of the world than they do to learn from the Word of God how they may be approved of Him.What if the lovely Jesus, our pattern, should make His appearance among them and the professors of religion generally, as at His first advent? He was born ina manger. Follow Him through His life and ministry. He was a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.
God says in Isaiah 55:11, "So shall my word be that goeth out of my mouth. It shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereunto I sent it."

Please join Dave the Mystic on Monday, May 2nd at 8PM MDT with guest author Kevin Schoeppel. Kevin was raised in in Southern Baptist churches, and began teaching the Bible in 1992. In 1999 he was ordained as a deacon by Pima Street Baptist Church of Tucson and in 2006 was elected Adult Education Director of the church. His interest in psychics began in 1975 with a girlfriend who could predict the future. This relationship sparked his interest in social attitudes towards psychics, and in how psychic ability actually worked. He married his wife Stanna—also a psychic—in 1978.
In the mid-2000’s, as paranormal-themed TV shows appeared, Kevin’s students had questions about what the Bible really said about psychics and mediums. Upon joining Facebook in 2009, Kevin friended several mediums who were happy to share their experiences with him upon realizing that he accepted them and their gifts. In 2010 he met Melanie Runyan, a medium in Kingman, AZ. She, along with Stanna, encouraged Kevin to write The Bible: The Truth about Psychics & Spiritual Gifts, which was published in 2013. He and Melanie remained close friends until her passing in March 2014.
As a result of the book, which teaches how the Bible supports psychic and mediumship abilities as true spiritual gifts, Kevin has been the featured guest on several Internet talk shows, such as David M. Baker’s Beyond The Gate Radio, Christina George’s Paranormal Connections, and Peggy S. Imm-Anesi’s Signs Our Loved Ones Send Us. His second book, Melanie: A Christian Medium’s Life and her Gifts of Spirit, to honor Melanie’s memory, was published in late 2015.

I was born in Clearwater, Florida and grew up as an Episcopalian. I was even an acolyte in the church, yet I was always fascinated with psychic phenomenon, Astrology, Numerology etc.. I graduated from The University Of South Florida with a BA degree, but not before discovering spiritualist churches and realizing that I wanted to learn more. I took a variety of psychic development classes and later even "Ascension.” I continue to practice yoga to this day.

Facing life at 50 with less than $100K in the bank is not an uncommon thing and the average is around $87,000.00. We followed our heritage and invested in cds, stocks, 401Ks and IRS that are making less that they ever have.
I started to research what other options are out there. The stumbliing block for most of us is that most financial institutions want a minumum of $10,000.00 or more to start building your portfolio. For years I thouroughly believed this and let my money get exhauted and rott in 401Ks.
What I have found is that there are many ways to start with as little as $25 dollars and these avenues have varying risk but even least risky investment is making 13% and above. In my case I took a bit riskier approach and have reaped 150% gains. I know this sounds like many folks out there trying to steal your money but I am an average Joe and it does work.
Having the confidence to take that first step and dip the toe in the water paralized me for over 30 years. Now that I jumped in I can really say "the water's better than fine". Setting up multiple streams based on my palate for risk has allowed me to support my self without working for 9 months, produced enough revenue to invest in other avenues and even buy a small marketing franchise.
Within the next three years I hope to totally become social security free. And of course I want to share this with those that want a path or a roadmap. It is not hard and I will help all I can as I now do not feel as chained to an existance of working for others.
