Funding Your Business with King and Kyle
Has come from the connection of Kyle Freeman the author of the new book "Going Public" How I Took My Company Public.
This book is about my personal journey in the venture capital business and how I used venture capital to take my company public. Most businesses fail in the first five years and most of the time due to a lack of capital. What if there was a way to get the amount of capital you need for your business? Would that be of interest to you or a business owner you know? Then get this book for yourself or a friend.
Christopher King heads up King Connections and Conscious Capital in the D.C. Metro area. The two organizations King works with helps business owners find their niche and gain exposure to expanding opportunities and emerging markets. While doing all these good deeds King reminds the business owners to remain conscious of the community and the well being of man kind.
Together the two have created the blogtalkradio show "Funding Your Business with King and Kyle" every Friday at 11am(est). Listen and learn to gain knowledge and experience so you don't make the mistakes most businesses make.
Enjoy the show and tell your friends, we look forward to having you listen in to the show.

Purchasing is not yet widely perceived as a premier league profession; certainly not when compared to, say, marketing, law, investment banking or entrepreneurship. But continued efforts by leading companies to exploit the power of effective purchasing have given Procurement a more important role in the corporate theatre.
The above statement was made by Sigi Osagie author of Procurement Mojo: Strengthening the Function and Raising It's Profile
What makes it interesting is the fact that there has been no shortage of discussions on procurement from the standpoint of its emerging strategic importance to the need for procurement professionals to finally get their seat at the executive table.
In yet another unique look into the rapidly changing world of procurement and what it means to not only those in the profession but business, I am pleased to welcome to the show Sigi Osagie.

Today's Show: Talking (or not talking) about Money
Ephesians 4:15 tells us that we are to speak the truth in love. Ordinarily we’d interpret a verse like that to have relevance when we’re approaching someone about a potential conflict. But regarding finances, I have come to know it also as a directive that is particularly relevant to the second part of the verse which tells us why?: So that “we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ”.
What I have experienced in my own life and with countless people I have worked with over the years is the interesting stronghold that Satan gains in people’s lives by convincing them to keep secrets about money. The secrets can be small like not being completely honest about how much something cost or larger like not telling your spouse that you lost your job or your life savings in a bad investment.
This week on Financial Grace Radio we’ll look at different scenarios for how to talk about money with various people in your life, from call-centre operators at the bank, to your spouse, children, boss, financial advisor, friends, etc.
We broadcast live from the British and Dominion Social Club immediately following the Sunday morning match between Liverpool and Arsenal. While the win over Bournemouth relieves some pressure, the expert panel and some new guests debate whether last week's Champions League crashout and drubbing at Old Trafford should cause Brendan Rodgers the immediate sack? Upstart Southampton is bounced from Capital One League play by lowly Sheffield enduring their fifth straight loss - can they turn it around or is Liverpool Craig the genius he appears to be? Dave is back from the Leeds United Christmas party in New York City - are there stories that can be told? We cover these and review the other weekend matches in this special Sunday edition of the Diehard Sports Soccer Show!
