The Voice of Change welcomes Dianne Monroe to the program to talk about her work with children. This show explores Growing Inside Out, Cultivating Your Child’s Inner Spark, a program and approach to nurturing children’s inner growth and unique spark of brilliance. Each of us has a talent or gift, a spark of brilliance, to offer this world. Within children that spark is already present, seeking to grow, longing to be seen, valued, understood. Yet this concept is not part of our civilization’s child development paradigm. Drawing from her over 20 years experience working with youth, Dianne Monroe has created an innovative and easy-to-use approach to nurturing children’s inner spark – for parents, educators and anyone with children in their lives. Visit her website, www.diannemonroe.com to download the introductory e-book to this path-breaking approach.

The Don S. McClure Show- Every Body Has A unique Gift Inside them...
Everybody has a unique gift inside them, your life is like a flower. How you view yourself is the most important issues of item you can place in your mind. I see mine in the shape of a flower, a seed in the waves of life.
Something, seen as beautiful such as an ornament or a figure of speech, that resembles a flower in shape, fineness, or attractiveness. The way you are seen in some ones eyes. When measuring beauty or quality.
The period of highest development; the peak. The highest example or best representative: the flower of our generation. A natural development or outgrowth: "His attitude was simply a flower of his general good nature"
Find how you see yourself and build from there. Maybe seek the four elements, Water, earth, air and sky. You will find much of these teaching in my book, The Gods and the beginning of life... Paperback – April 28, 2012

Marysville Pilchuck High School shooting
A well-liked freshman "homecoming prince" opened fire inside a high-school cafeteria north of Seattle on Friday, killing one girl and shooting four other students in the head before taking his own life.
Three of the students wounded at Marysville-Pilchuck High School were in "very critical" condition Friday afternoon, said a hospital spokeswoman.
Police said the gunman, identified Friday evening as Jaylen Fryberg, died from a self-inflicted gunshot. It was not clear whether the girl was pronounced dead at the scene.
Taking the expression 'thinking outside the box' to a whole new level. Are schools really teaching our kids to be dumber? The Common Core strategy is that it doesn't matter if the answer is wrong as long as the explanation makes sense. Huh? I guess a good example of that would be: Murder is wrong, but I really hated the guy and felt he didnt deserve to live? Crazy right?
On this weeks show we are looking at the implementation of the new school curriculum and why even when an answer is wrong, it's right.
The Common Core education package is now being used in schools around the world, so how come parents were not even aware of it until recently? How much dumber do we want our kids to be?
Even worse, how can parents be expected to help with homework, when nobody knows what is right anymore? And how can this practice be put into effect when it was never approved by the education system?
Join me for this weeks show where I will be answering these questions and a whole bunch more.
Would you be surprised to hear just who is financing this operation?

in Self Help
Tonight's special guest is Laura M Parks from Chandler, Arizona, child abuse and DV survivor - author of several books including, "Under the Broken Halo," "A Promise to God: The Story of Pastor Cam Iverson" and "Alias 'The Rose': Though the petal may fall.....She shall never be forgotten." Being brutally raped by her older brother, molested regularly and beaten by her father, emotionally abused by her mother, and molested by other family members, led her down a very destructive path. "By my teen years I didn't know which way was up and dreamed of either dying or running away." She says. "I married men like my father, domineering, abusive, and controlling. Between marriages I hung out with bikers in dimly lit bars engaging in activities that were less than appropriate for a mother of young children. I made some bad decisions and the cycle of abuse continued in my children." One morning in February of 2009 she woke up and said "enough is enough." She decided to start living instead of just existing. "I had faith that I could finally become a whole person and started making arrangements to move on with my life," she says. "The day I left my third husband, he was waving a gun in my face threatening to blow a hole in anyone that came on "his" property. Even though I was terrified and shaking, I refused to back down from him. I packed my stuff, got in my car, and drove away from the nightmare." Laura concludes, "I listened to my voice inside, prayed every day, stayed strong and never looked back. My mission is to inspire others to become survivors and stop considering themselves victims. If I did it, so can you." As Laura says, "We don't have to stay victims, we can all become survivors."
This will be a heartfelt interview with my guest Suzanne Perry who is a survivor of domestic violence. Often you hide the bruises and the shame behind a smile while afraid on the inside to speak up and take control back in your life. Together we will give information on how to escape the behavior and take that first step towards the rest of your life before death becomes your alternative. Domestic Violence is not on a female problem but men are abused as well. Let's stop the cycle and stop the madness.
