Amy DiBasilio M.Ed., HC., is a holistic health coach, wellness educator and mom of three. Whe works with busy families to help them to overcome the obstacles keeping them from wellness. On our first show with Amy she revealed the many names for sugar and how hard it is to know if there is sugar added to packaged and processed foods. Today Shirley Gutkowski and Amy will dig a little deeper into the world of label reading and marketing so that food shopping becomes easier. It's all about know what to look for on the labels like how many portions or servings are in the can or package. For instance if a can of soup says 700 mg of sodium and there are 2 servings in the can that means that consuming the whole can gives you 1400 mg of sodium. Either way it's too much sodium, but there is a huge difference between 700 and 1400 mg. and the point is some of these tactics are misleading.
How many ingredients are too many? And does your body recognize processed foods as food?

We were born to love. Which baby looks like a born natural killer? If you smile at a baby a baby will smile back.
Even when we go through difficult times, it is important to remember, we were born to love. And difficult people many times are people who don't know how to love or people who are hurt. Natually, you can't win them all. But it is important that regardless you continue to grow and become the loving person that God meant you to be and you will never be sorry!

What happens when the inner world is at odds with the outer world?
What is the missing elusive ingredient?
Join us weekly as we discuss, explore and uncover the genesis of our illustrious manifestations and creations!!
