What You Probably Missed In The Latest Verizon Data Breach Investigations Report

    in Technology

The annual Verizon Data Breach Investigations Report (DBIR) published in April was the biggest and most jam-packed ever, with loads of data and trend nuggets that didn't necessarily catch the eye of the media or the public.

Marc Spitler, co-author of the Verizon DBIR, in the next episode of Dark Reading Radio will share some of those lesser-known but most intriguing tidbits from the massive report that captures the attention of the security community every year. Among some of the findings that may have gotten lost in the shuffle:  the long-term trend in point-of-sale compromises, how mobile is not a factor in real-world attacks, the role of system admin errors, and some of the lesser-known impacts of a breach.

Spitler will drill down on these and other elements of the DBIR on Dark Reading Radio’s upcoming episode, which will be hosted by Kelly Jackson Higgins, executive editor of Dark Reading.

This show page is now the updated version containing all links provided by @MsAmyMacPherson during the show, specifically on the secret plan for health care in Canada. It was a very revealing episode. You are invited to listen to the audio archive, then are invited to look at this paste, which is not able to be edited or deleted.

    America and its Coddled Society

Which is in my opinion, bass ackwards. Get ready some brutal, honest truths about the new "Soft America" mentality that is tearing our Beloved Country apart.
