Elizabeth and Neil Carman - "Cosmic Cradle"

    in Spirituality

This month, Suzane welcomes special guests, Elizabeth and Neil Carman

Elizabeth Carman is a philosopher/psychologist, pre-birth researcher, author, and former social worker. After graduation from Michigan State University with a degree in psychology, Elizabeth did social service work with low income, minority families, and was a caseworker in adoption and foster care.

Elizabeth learned first-hand that traditional methods were ineffective for dealing with the deeper problems of life. Problems are like a room filled with darkness – and the solution is not looking for the source of the darkness, but bringing in the light. Then the darkness is no longer found. Ultimately, the answers lie inside of each of us.

Consequently, Elizabeth shifted gears from the field of social service to spiritual service. At this point today, she has spent more than forty-five years studying spiritual disciplines and researching consciousness, including participating in long-term meditation retreats in North America, Europe, and Asia. Elizabeth has taught meditation workshops and served on university faculty helping people work on the core of their existence and expand their consciousness as a way to leading a happier life.

Elizabeth’s journey into researching pre-birth experiences began in 1989 with a focus on how women can prepare for a more elevated experience on the way to motherhood, and, at the same time, give birth to happy, smiling babies right from the first breath. Through interviews with mothers, Elizabeth explored the link between higher consciousness and motherhood/childbirth.

In their newest book, Cosmic Cradle: Spiritual Dimensions of Life before Birth, Elizabeth Carman, PhD, together with her husband, Neil Carman, PhD, have synthesized forty-five years’ worth of research, historical accounts, and firsthand natural experiences of the pre-birth realm.

    Leadership; Police; Criminal Justice System; Tokenism; Morality;

    in Politics

Tonight we will discuss the need of black leadership in the black community in order to reduce police brutality; The reason these problems are redundant is because we do not have representation that looks out for our better interest.  Tokensim is and has gotten to be a sneaky, dinosaur method of failed leadership that is not effective in the year 2015.  This was an experiment that has failed and is ineffective in the black community. We need strong, God-fearing, moral Black leadership that is looking out for our best interest.

Rev.Russell Moore's Bible Study Hour: Battling With Obedience in the Spirit.

    in Religion

We fight against a host of spiritual beings in Heavenly places. Arguments  and speculations against the Holiness of God is the weapon they hinder the believer with. Their greatest weapon against the power of the Cross is for christians to continue to live  in sin. Sin makes us powerless and causes the Glorious Gospel to be ineffective in our lives. Right believing leads to right living.  Demons and the evil host attempt to hide the gospel from men by leading men to the broad road  of ideas about heaven and hell.

Racism in America: Why It Will Not Go Away!

    in Politics Progressive

In this episode Bob Kirkconnell, author of American Heart of Darkness, will discuss America's biggest and oldest problem of "Racism in America". If there ever has been an opportune time to abolish slavery, it was during and after the Revolutionary War. And yet it survived. Even after the Civil War, a horrific event that killed more Americans than any other war, what did survive was racism. Despite excellent legislation against racism, it morphed into what is today called "Jim Crow," a de facto form of slavery. America tried again in the '60s and '70s with the civil rights movement that resulted in legislation that struck down Jim Crow. The Civil Rights Act of 1964, The Voting Rights Act, and many others made Jim Crow a thing of the past, but this system was replaced again with what we have today which is "The Prison Industrial Complex." Will this ever end, and why won’t it go away?

This brings up some conclusions and also questions:

What is the Prison Industrial Complex and what effect does it have?
Why is legislation ineffective against racism?
Why cannot America leave its racist past behind?
What would replace the Prison Industrial Complex if it was legislated out of existence?
What needs to be done to solve this cancer that has been with America from the very start?

Call in and join the discussion!

    Our Journey Towards Freedom

    in Christianity

When we choose to live our lives in full devotion to God, giving him all we have, our hearts and minds completely focused on Him we will be met with great resistance, hostility and harrassment from Satan. As we make that journey and get ever so closer to the finish line I have seen personally the lives of many derailed by seductive allurements that say life is better over here or the grass is greener over there, many who wish if they had it to do all over again they might have taken a different route, instead of the sin that so easily entangles. At some point in our lives many Christians have given in to the flesh, feeding it with ographic magazines, videos, affairs. And I to , have a few regrets of choices I have made to enjoy pleasures for a season and gone off course. But I am so pleased to say we have a risen Savior that brings deliverance, freedom and restoration for all in need of His healing touch. And if your finding your self stuck in a rut and having difficulty battling your flesh, just know your not alone, cause the more you want to devote your life to the Lord, the more Satan wants to throw you off the tracks an render you ineffective for God and his purposes for your life as you make your journey towards wholeness and Freedom.

    The Myth of Employee Burnout

    in Business

Burnout (lack of motivation/engagement) is a very real thing, but the reasons it happens often escape people, which is why we see the cycle repeat itself over and over again. An employee starts a job enthused, engaged and motivated, then somewhere along the line they become unproductive and show a lack of initiative.  One of the main reasons this happens (which few people admit) is due to the environment created by a leader.  The trick is for each leader to look in the mirror to determine the source of the breakdown. Matt Heller joins us to talk about this important topic.

Matt is the founder of Performance Optimist Consulting. As a trainer and facilitator, Matt has a developed a proven track record for being able to relate to any audience and give them solid tools they can use immediately.  Matt is the author of The Myth of Employee Burnout.
