    Message: Be Thankful

    Text: 1 Thess. 5:18-20

The Bible teaches that "GRATEFULNESS" is the normal quality of a Christian’s life ... without it our Christianity would be warped and unproductive!

The Spirit Alive Praise & Worship Experience is a virtual church where we are standing in the gap for those who can't go, or won't go into the building by providing a safe and loving atmosphere where they can simply hear the word of God. There's no fashion shows, no offerings, and no pomp and circumstance, all we offer is the love and light of Jesus Christ.

What do you REALLY want?? With Carla Fox

    in Education

During today’s interview, Carla will be addressing the sometimes controversial topic of chakra removal.   This process is considered to be a necessity for those who wish to exit the 4th dimensional matrix at the end of their time here on planet earth.  It is the start of the true journey to autonomy.  Your chakras connect you directly to the 4th dimensional matrix and are energy portals by which negative programming can enter your energy field.
Of course, there are positive aspects to the chakra system, too, and Carla will cover all of the pros and cons.  She will then give some resources for those who wish to go ahead and remove their chakras.  There are so many ineffective methods of chakra removal out there, as evidenced by the number of people who have asked Carla to check their success, and who have not been successful for a number of reasons.  It is time to set the record straight.

Carla Fox has spent many years as a shamanic practitioner in the Peruvian traditions. Her focus of service has now shifted into the quantum realms, higher dimensions, and alternate realities where so much more can be seen, known and worked with...

Join hosts Tammy Anahata, Amy Brimicombe and Chris Hales as we explore the deepest aspects of our experience in this amazing world!

Packers lose game and cool on the sideline; now tied with Vikings

    in Sports

The Green Bay Packers faced an undefeated team for the second week in a row and had the same result; a loss. The Packers have now dropped two games back to back after starting the season 6-0. After falling behind 27-7 at halftime, the Packers mounted a second half comeback that fell four yards short. Aaron Rodgers was intercepted by Thomas Davis, on a fourth and goal play with 1:54 remaining.

Rodgers was under duress the entrie day, and it proved costly on the last play. The Panthers sacked Rodgers five times, but applied constant pressure throughout the game. Not only did the Panthers apply pressure they shut down an ineffective Packers running game. The Packers finished the game with 71 rushing yards on 19 carries, for an average of 3.7 yards. Eddie Lacy carried five times for 10 yards, including a fumble.

Cam Newton has now led the Panthers to 12 consecutive regular season wins. He finished the day 15 for 30 and 297 yards along with throwing a season high three touchdown passes. Newton added 57 yards on the ground and his rushing touchdown gave the Panthers a 10-7 lead early in the second quarter. The Panthers now have a two game lead for home field advantage over every team in the NFC.

Stories We are Afraid to Tell

    in Psychology

Each of us as individuals and as groups may decide that it is too painful or dangerous to share important parts of our story. What is unspoken cannot be examined for facts that are incorrect or assumptions that that are faulty. Serious life problems may go unsolved preventing both individuals and groups from transforming lives for the better, allowing self-destructive behaviors to continue and preventing more creative living to emerge. Individuals, families and even whole societies my feel stuck in modes of life that are unproductive, unhappy, and missing opportunities to experience joy instead of misery.  Tonight's episode will explore aspects of saying the unsayable.

Patriots and Panthers remain perfect after week 7 wins; NFL recap tonight

    in Sports

The most exciting news from the NFL in week 7 was that the Green Bay Packers, Denver Broncos, and Cincinnati Bengals return to action this week. From a national perspective, there were no story line games this weekend. The week started with the Seattle Seahawks making a statement on Thursday night football. The win improves the Seahawks record to 3-4 after a shaky start.

The New York Jets are probably one of the most surprising teams and had a chance to make their statement.  The Jets fought hard for 60 minutes but mental errors and mistakes may have cost them a chance to take over first place. The Jets did have the ball and a chance to tie, but a motion penatly on Brandon Marshall resulted in a 10 second run off ending the game. Do you like the 10 second run off rule? Tom Brady was spectacular once agan completing 34 of 54 passes for 355 yards and two touchdowns. The Patriots will play the rejuvenated Miami Dolphins on Thursday night.

The Philadelphia Eagles had claimed the top spot in the NFC East but had to travel to Carolina. Cam Netwon was far from effective going 14 of 24 for 197 yards. He tossed one touchdown but had three interceptions and ended the day with 59.2 passer rating. Jonathan Stewart carried 24 times for 125 yards. The Eagles could not contain the veteran tailback. The bigger story was the dominating defense, sacking Eagle Quarterback Sam Bradford five times, and forcing an interception.

The New York Giants ruined the start of Matt Cassell. With a 27-20 win, the Giants have reclaimed the top spot in the NFC East.  Cassell started in place of an ineffective Brandon Weedon, and faired a little better. However, the end result was the same, as the Cowboys fell to 2-4 and are in last place.
