Dawan Hopson, stage name Kentucky Boy, is a man who grew up in the mean streets of Hopkinsville, Kentucky. He started rapping & freestyling at the age of 10. Although he never graduated from high school, he has always dreamed of becoming a rap superstar. Throughout Dawan's life, he has sold drugs, been in and out of jail, and has even been shot. You would assume that he's the typical rapper! But Mr. Hopson is a changed man. In fact, he is a very talented musical artist who now tours with the multi-platinum rap group out of Kentucky known as Nappy Roots. Dawan aka Kentucky Boy is not only the total package in the hip hop industry, but he creates fans based on his struggle, dedication, and hot creative style. People can relate to his music because he makes crump, gangster, & real life hit songs. Kentucky Boy is the next big artist that the world needs to watch out for in the up and coming future. He wants the world to know that Kentucky is not as country as it seems. In fact Dawan states, "Don't talk about Kentucky & the crops on our farm because we will peel your potato & shuckle your corn."

Two years ago, a few friends who knew each other from working on the independent wrestling scene in Illinois decided to get into this fairly new medium of podcasting. Along with some other guys they met on Facebook they decided to create a podcast dedicated to wrestling. They called their new creation Pro Wrestling Roundtable. There have been several changes in terms of name, cohosts and many networks but the show, now called PWR SLAM! is not just still alive but thriving. What started out as a local based show has turned into a global phenomenon with fans all over the world. We have presented not just up and coming stars but veterans and legends. We haven't shied away from controversy either, discussing a wrestler who had to get a regular job because the promotion wasn't paying him to racism and sexism. This week, however, is about celebrating two years of fun with our friends both old and new. We felt that one night with our standard format just didn't fit this party we are going to have so we decided to make it a two night celebration & our guest list is stacked. Airing both Tuesday & Wednesday with both nights starting at 9/8 Central the guest list is a veritable who's who of the wrestling business. Slated to appear with us over the two days will be Joel Deaton, The Stro, Fred Ottman, Kenny Starmaker Bolin, Bill Apter, Roxy Astor, Terry Garvin Simms, & many more. We also have a couple of big surprises for our fans and we might even get surprised ourselves. Sean, Steve, & Katie already know they will have no control of either night but invite you to join them for the mayhem. We are restricting call times this week to allow our guests the chance to interact with us & each other. Questions will always be welcome via our chat room. When we do announce question time you may either reach us on Skype or by phone (347)-826-9418. Join us as we celebrate two years of the best wrestling podcast on the internet PWR SLAM!

Born July 26, 1992 in New Britain, CT. Mercedes Roye noticed her love and passion for music, since the age of 8. She never had an idol but from, the different types of music she listened to, she learned how to break down full songs, from the melody, to the instruments, to the tempo and etc.
Besides making music Banga always had a passion for writing which grew from her personal experiences from childhood to now, whether it was a simple journal entry to a poem. Not only does she look up to music artists but has a love for spoken word that inspires her to create the music she does.
Young but very self-motivated, this artist is making the best of her talents. She is signed to the minor label “Getto Pecasso Music Group” also known as G.P.M.G RECORDS managed by Harold Shipley as an independent artist. You can check out her most recent project “Out with the Old in With the New” hosted by Connecticut’s own DJ Get It Rite on her website, www.bangaroye.com . Previous to that she has leaked several songs which can also be found in the music section, as well as her latest single "The Code" produced by The TrendsetterZ, featuring "Millionz of Bars" , the newest artist on the label. She strives for everything she believes in, especially her music. She is not exactly where she wants to be yet, but is slowly climbing her way to the top with her supportive peers apart of the label.
