President Obama disputed the notion that income inequality and related problems affect mostly African Americans and Hispanics, saying these issues cut across socioeconomic lines. "The opportunity gap in America is now as much about class as it is about race," and that gap is growing.Reducing inequality should help all Americans, "We need to dispel the myth that the goals of growing the economy and reducing inequality are necessarily in conflict. The trickle-down GOP ideology that reduced the power of unions, and led to tax cuts "for the wealthiest, while investments in things that make us all richer, like schools and infrastructure, were allowed to wither."USA Today
Significant systemic change is now a mathematical fact. Corruption, greed and economic inequality have reached a peak tipping point. Due to the consolidation of wealth, the majority of the population cannot generate enough income to keep up with the cost of living. In the present economy, under current government policy, 70% of the population is now sentenced to an impoverished existence. Producers Walter Davis and Nilsa Higgins go over this report for startling news that all Americans need to act on.

Every week Yaron Brook reviews significant headlines that impact freedom in various forms. Commenting from a philosophical view that man's greatest value is self, he brings unique perspective to the conversation, always ending the show with a positive sense of life. In this episode, Yaron Brook and Don Watkins discuss declining global markets, and analyze whether it's connected to inequality.
Democrats are also carefully choosing their rhetoric. Some have invoked the popular Pope Francis, who recently warned that income inequality will lead to “an economy of exclusion.” Some are citing economist Mark Zandi, former adviser to Sen. John McCain (R) of Arizona, who defends benefits for the long-term unemployed as a boost to economic growth.2012 presidential candidate Mitt Romney’s comment about the 47 percent of Americans who are “dependent on government” and “unwilling to take personal responsibility and care for their lives.” It reinforced his plutocrat image in the 2012 campaign, which Obama went on to win handily even in a bad economy. "Here in the United States, our high level of income inequality corresponds with 883,914 unnecessary deaths each year." According to the CDC tobacco, including second hand smoke, causes approximately 480,000 deaths every year and in 2010 traffic accidents killed 33,687 people and 31,672 others died of gunshot wounds." High inequality results in more U.S. deaths than Tobacco, Car Crashes and Guns combined....truthdig.com

Does anyone really think Putin cares about sanctions from the Europeans or the empty threats from Obama? Obama wants the US to be like Russia where only the chosen few and “intelligentsia” to be able to do well economically. The new book by this Marxist “economist” that says that we should all be equal in income is just what Obama will promote. 80% tax and incomes over $500,000 and then we eliminate it. These European pinheads and their ilk here at Harvard and Yale have carped for years about the “really valuable” people not being “fairly paid”. In other words, the marketplace can’t determine how they get remunerated because the average person is too stupid to realize how really smart they are and how important whatever project they are doing is. They are every bit as greedy as anyone else…they just keep trying to convince you they’re not.
