What happens within the black community when the gap widens between the poor and the affluent? That's one question raised by new census data showing well-off African-Americans leaving cities for the suburbs and the South while the ranks of the black poor grow larger.Over the past decade, the share of black households ranking among the poorest poor — those earning less than $15,000 — climbed from 20 percent to 26 percent, according to census figures. What gives? Why is America not helping it's own Citizens?

Even an extra income of $500 each month could go a long way to paying down debt or increasing your investments. We often hear about the importance of diversifying our investments, but diversifying our income streams is just as important, particularly in difficult economic times. Let me show you just how valuable even an extra $500 per month can be. Then I’ll list the factors to consider in deciding how to generate extra income, followed by 10 multiple income stream ideas.
Flexible: The ideal source of extra income will allow you to call the shots when it comes to your time. Particularly if you have a full time job, the last thing you want is being tied down to working a set number of hours each week at a second job.
Scalable: Look for income sources that have at least the possibility of generating substantial amounts of income.
Sustainable: The ideal extra income source will continue to generate cash even when you’re not working at it. The idea is to build something that can eventually function without you

With the release of her new anthology through Immanion Press/Megalithica Books Shades of Ritual, Crystal and a slew of writers talk frankly about ritual from the persepctive of people of color.
Crystal's bio: Crystal Blanton is an activist, writer, priestess, mother, wife, and social worker. She is an advocate for true diversity and multiculturalism within the Pagan community. Crystal is the author of Bridging the Gap and Pain and Faith in a Wiccan World, and the editor of Shades of Faith: Minority Voices in Paganism and Shades of Ritual; Minorities Voices in Practice. Beginning after the first half hour contributors to the work will be calling in to share about their particular essays and experiences, about one every ten minutes. In the second and third hour we opened the floor to the ladies for a panel discussion of the topic of people of color in the Pagan community.
ENVISION THIS: Economic and social justice activists sensitive to differences in class cultures
Betsy Leondar-Wright is an economic justice activist, sociologist and author, who writes on class and economic inequality. For nine years she was the Communications Director at United for a Fair Economy, and co-authored UFE's new book The Color of Wealth: The Story Behind the U.S. Racial Wealth Divide. She is currently the Project Director and Senior Trainer at Class Action, a non-profit that raises consciousness about class and money, where she edits the blog “Classism Exposed.” Betsy’s latest of twelve books, Missing Class: Strengthening Social Movement Groups by Seeing Class Cultures, was just published in 2014.
Betsy says, "Often the paid organizers in low-income communities come from professional middle-class backgrounds. I worked as a community organizer for many years, and the class dynamics can be tricky..." From an interview she conducted with Dorian Warren, she quotes,"Don't do things for people, but help them speak for themselves." Understanding the perspective, values, and goals of the people you are working with or trying to organize is so crucial that Betsy's current work focuses on helping activists to form cross-class coalitions in movements for social change
Join our discussion on this crucial aspect of creating a more just, equitable, and inclusive future.

Of all the ways to create a consistent and passive income stream, purchasing an existing, revenue generating website is the smartest. What does that mean? What does that look like?

Alright everyone we got through our recap show and there was some other things I wanted to point out but I was running out of time. I also did not get the oppurtunity to play the clip of a caller that says his name is Mr. Solution, and he actually was one of my favorite calls so I might play his clip and touch on a few things he said just because I'm up, and I just feel like continueing the discussion. Now that it has been clearly stated by a bm that all the (so called) good bm are not invisible but rather they have all voluntarily left the major Black communities, thus taking the positive examples and role models of strong masculine LEADERSHIP with them. My show accomplished showing us that the problem is BM and not BW. Women left behind to raise kids in isolation without the aid of men concerned enough for the generations coming behind them to stay. Now that this fact is officially on the record we may need to have a serious dialogue on just what a good bm is? What they calling "good" seems to be based soley off pedigree, income and ones ability to pay for higher education. Most Black women dont define good BM based off these superficial elitest categories of classism. Which explains the ones on social media complaining that we like bad boys, basic educated thug types. To us they are good too. They simply could not afford to pay to go thru a higher INDOCTRINATION fication program which upon completion renders BM now liscened w/degrees incapable of relating to those who have not undergone this more expensive form of male emasculinazation and seasoning. All they did was went from a basic street ie... field nigga, simply to (MORE) of uh house nigge*. Watch the movie Trick Baby if you still don't get it.
Starting your own business while working is the best thing a working class citizen can do. We all know a few more things today, than we knew a decade ago. One thing we know is nothing is guaranteed. Another thing we know is the average person will not build wealth on a 9 to 5 job. What better time to step up that entrepreneur spirit. On today's show I'm going to talk about a money making project to supplement the income we already have. Have lack of time, knowledge or money been holding you back? Then join my money making project today. Together we'll merge everything but the profits and advertise our house helper services all over America. I believe the American dream still lives. It lives inside of each one of us. America's House Helper Services project is a challenge, but together we will be able to keep cost low; work out challenges together; grow together; and who knows, the sky is the limit. Listen in and let's discuss the pros and cons.
