    WHY ARE YOU SO GAY??!!

    in Spirituality

HERE WE WILL HAVE A VERY CANDID DISCUSSION ABOUT WHAT MAKES GAY PEOPLE GAY.  ARE THEY BORN THAT WAY? DOES IT STEM FROM BIOLOGICAL OR GENETIC MEANS? IS IT A CHOICE?  WHY ARE GAYS SO SENSITIVE AND DEFENSIVE REGARDING THE LIFESTYLE THAT THEY CHOOSE? WHY IS SOCIETY SO JUDGMENTAL AND INTOLERANT OF THE LIFESTYLE OF GAYS?  IS THERE SOMETHING THAT CAN BE DONE TO BRIDGE THE GAP BETWEEN THE GAYS AND THE HATERS OF GAYS OR WILL WE FOREVER BE DIVIDED BY OUR OWN SELF LIMITING BELIEFS? WILL WE EVER BE ABLE TO GET PAST THE THOUGHTS AND IDEAS THAT PREVENT US FROM TRULY EVOLVING SPIRITUALLY OR IS IT OKAY TO FEEL WHAT WE WANT TO FEEL AND LIVE HOW WE WANT TO LIVE? VERY CANDID TALK.  I MAY OPEN THE SHOW TO CALLERS BUT PLEASE BEAR IN MIND THAT THIS IS NOT A BASHING SESSION, NOR IS IT A DEBATE.  WE WILL ALL BE RESPECTFUL OF EACH OTHER AT ALL TIMES OR YOU WILL BE DISCONNECTED FROM THE LINE.  I WELCOME ALL COMMENTS AND QUESTIONS AS LONG AS WE REMAIN RESPECTFUL.  AND ALSO NOTEWORTHY IS THE FACT THAT THIS IS MY SHOW AND IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE MATERIAL BEING PRESENTED OR THE WAY IN WHICH I PRESENT IT, YOU ARE FREE TO LOG OFF.  IN FACT I'D RATHER YOU DID.  OTHERWISE, BUCKLE UP AND GET READY FOR A RIDE INTO THE LAND OF THE GAYS, AND HEAR IT STRAIT FROM THEM ACCORDING TO THIER OWN EXPERIENCES.  ONE LOVE TO ALL!!!

Author Selena Robins, on writing romance, stardom and more on Authors on the Air

    in Books

Authors on the Air host Pam Stack welcomes the very talented author Selena Robins.  Unable to stay focused in school—science and math didn’t equate to happily ever after—Selena excelled in Daydreaming 101 and Creative Writing. Her entrepreneurial skills became evident in the latter part of Junior High when she found herself penning essays and short stories for five bucks a pop. Her future as a writer was foreshadowed by winning first prize in a contest run by the Humane Society—a romance about two race horses who fell in love (the filly won the race and the stud). Selena has continued her passion for happily ever after both in her life (okay, some days she’s sitting in first class on the Frazzled Express…but still) and in her books. In love with her family, friends, books, laughter, hockey, lively discussions, chocolate and red wine (sometimes all at the same time), Selena is a dragon slayer who enjoys reading and writing sassy heroines and hot heroes. After giving up her dream of becoming a movie star/dancer/singer, Selena decided that her second-in-line dream was to be a writer. Even if she never got published, she’d still want to write stories with fun characters and happy ever after endings.

The Evolution of Her: Redefining Your Beliefs about Your Feminine Identity

    in Legal

Evolution begins with the recognition that there is no single defined path to a fulfilling life. A fascinating evolution of identity is occurring in which women everywhere are redefining themselves. The Evolution of Her describes how we can take part in this thrilling cultural movement by living the lives we want instead of following society’s prescriptive life plan. Heather Stanislaus will show us how we can redefine our beliefs about ourselves as women against the backdrop of the modern age without giving up on the dream of finding a life partner or having children—but only if we want them. With her guidance, you will begin to see the social and psychological forces that influence your beliefs about your identity and come to appreciate your life in a new way.

Heather Stanislaus embarked on a journey of self-discovery over ten years ago through the practice of yoga and meditation. She is a thought-provoking contemporary woman dedicated to guiding individuals to apply practical wisdom in their everyday lives in order to uncover their personal truths.
