I have always been intrigued with the plight of women and the mechanics of our relationships with other women. More specifically, the dynamics of best friends, mothers and daughters, and how we interact with women we don’t know.
I want to give this subject a platform because I find it difficult to understand how women, the most nurturing human beings on earth, are unable to unify and support one another. Why are we so envious of each? What creates that volatile atmosphere? What is creating the poor self-esteem and lack of confidence so many of our sisters and young girls have?
This discussion will be broken down into a series of micro conversations which will specially address the various relationships we cultivate as women. The first conversation will address Mothers & Daughters.
We're lucky to have Life Coach, Cherie Avinger, as our guest. Cherie will be sharing her professional advice and guidance regarding how to improve or maintain that special mother/daughter relationship. We will also be joined by Ms. Cheryl Laylock. Cheryl will be sharing her advice on how she has been able to sustain a very respectful and nurturing relationship with her two adult daughters.
Please feel free to join the conversation this Sunday, March 22 at 5pm. Guest dial-in (713) 955-0703.
We talk about love a lot. We look for love throughout our lives. We wish for it, we desire it, we think we need it, we percieve ourselves as lonely without it, or unloved if we feel there is no evidence of love in our lives, yet how do we view love in the relationships we have and do we set aside those we love looking for love where we are not finding it? What is Love's role in your life and how does that affect every relationship you are in? Tune in and Join in on the Conversation, Tomorrow Morning at 5:30 AM, PST!

The main components of the program that will be addressed during this interview include:
- being present;
- active listening;
- active empathy; and
- the final component where doctors, as themselves in their real life roles - interview patients played by other doctors.

There are men who are predisposed to be emotionally present in a relationship and others who are not. This predisposition is an intrinsic part of personality or may be borne of earlier experiences, including the models men grew up with, their previous positive or negative relationships, their temperament,and social norms.

I often see people changing and not being themselves when they love someone. This is before the relationship begins. This does a disservice to you and to the person you want to be with. Just be yourself. When you try too hard you will come across as strange. I've been asked how much is is destiny or free will when it comes to love relationships?
Above all God created us with free will. Sometimes, relationships are destiny and meant to happen as life is a learning experience. However, even with that being said anything can change someone's free will. You can change the dynamics of the relationship consciously or subconscousy.
People often miss the fact that love is patient and love is kind. When I read for someone and they want an exact date of when they will be with someone it is not a rational question. I will explain more.
Also, see what is real. Why someone is contacting you or returning your emails or phone calls. You might be reading too much into it. This is why I tell you to be yourself and the rest will follow.
I will discuss more.
I wil also take psychic questions. You can reach me for a detailed reading by email firstname.lastname@example.org

Love and Light,

One of the biggest skills, in life, is to get along with people. John Maxwell wrote a book called "Winning with People." In the book he shares:
The Lens Principle Who you are determines what you see and the way you see it. What is around us doesn’t determine what we see: What is within us does. And who you are determines how you see others. If you are a trusting person, you will see others as trustworthy. If you are a critical person, you will see others as critical. If you are a caring person, you will see others as compassionate. The way you view others is determined by who you are. If you don’t like people, that really is a statement about you and the way you look at people. Your viewpoint is the problem. If that’s the case, don’t try to change others. Don’t even focus on others; focus on yourself. If you change yourself and become the kind of person you desire to be, you will begin to view others in a whole new light. And that will change the way you interact in all of your relationships. The Mirror Principle People unaware of who they are and what they do often damage relationships with others. The way to change that is to look in the mirror. Consider these truths that we must learn about ourselves: Self-Awareness. Human nature seems to endow people with the ability to size up everybody in the world but themselves.
The Big Picture Principle People who remain self-centered and self-serving will always have a hard time getting along with others. To help them break that pattern of living, they need to see the big picture, which requires perspective, maturity and responsibility. Here are some steps to follow: Get out of your “own little world.” Go places you have never gone, meet the kinds of people you do not know, and do the things you have not done before.
Today's Show features a LIVE talk John Maxwell gave on this subject.
