There are thousands of self help/self improvement books, webinars, and conferences out there. It's a concept that has become very profitable for a lot of people. So, what does the Bible say about it? Plenty! God meets us right where we are. That's one of the amazing things about the Gospel of Jesus. While Jesus meets us where we are, he doesn't want us to stay there. Jesus wants us to grow, to change, to improve...in fact, the Bible has a lot to say about it. Paul says in Philippians 3 that, "Not that I have already attained or am already perfected; but I press on...I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus." Listen this week as Dr Pauline talk about the Biblical perspective on self-improvement.
As always, we welcome your comments and questions through Facebook (Dunamas Center Ministries), and Twitter (@YourDunamasLife).
Watch for Dr Pauline's new book, "Won't Somebody Please Hear Me? Healing from Birth Traumatomology Syndrome"...Coming soon!
Our BRAND NEW website is almost ready at www.dunamascenter.com and we are so excited for you to see it! We'll let you know when it goes live!
Setting up tools, building a project, and cleaning up can lead to some serious DIY fitness.
Mark & Theresa know first-hand how a DIY lifestyle keeps us healthy and trim. While Theresa keeps the piles of wood, paint cans, buckets, and hammers just to DIYing, Mark on-the-way-other-hand is DIY fitness extreme. Mark actually uses his hatchet, sledgehammer, buckets of rocks, pallets, wood as part of his morning fitness ritual. It’s how he gets ready for a Spartan Race.
Our guests are ready to share their DIY fitness tips.
This week we are blabbing with Jason Cameron, Matt Blashaw, Sara Bendrick, John Colaneri, and Justin DiPego.

Phymean is a Buddhist, born in Cambodia in Kampong Cham province. As a young girl growing up during the Khmer Rouge era, she survived one of the worst genocides in the world's history only to lose her mother to cancer at the age of 15. Phymean tried her hardest to survive, even though a lot of people had lost their hope, she still had a dream, a bleak hope. At the age of 15, as an orphan living alone, she not only had to care for herself but also her 2 year old niece as the rest of her family had died during Khmer Rouge and her sister had fled to refugee camps in Thailand.
Phymean’s mother had always taught her the importance of education and this lesson has resonated with her. For 12 years she worked for the United Nations and its agencies like ILO UNDP.
In 2002 she decided to resign from her last job to start the People Improvement Organization (PIO). She is now living her dream to help the poorest children in Cambodia.
Now, she has 3 schools and serves over 1300 children a day. She provides free education, food/ nutrition, clean water, hygiene, health care, shelter and vocational training to the underprivileged children and women.
Her work has been recognized to the world. In 2008 she was awarded a Top Ten Hero by CNN for my work.
On February 25th, 2015 World’s Children’s Prize announced Phymean as a nominee for Children Nobel Prize in Sweden. The three nominees will be attend the Award ceremony in October, 2015 present by Queen Silvia of Sweden.
On May 3rd, Phymean received 2015 Special Outstanding Asia Award from the Canadian multicultural Council- Asians in Ontario.

Life improvement involves natural health and holistic healing methods, as well as personal growth, expanding awareness and developing community. A transformation in consciousness is underway. While there are wars and increasing signs of more war, economic crisis and social chaos, at the same time, the caring and mutual support of the wisdom of shared awareness and the power of love are growing. This awakening is widely needed in this time of challenge.
