Helping improve your Thyroid Gland Function with Herbs

    in Health

On tonight's show Rosie is going to discuss some important herbs and seeds to add to your diet that will help your thyroid glands and improve your overall health.

    Bladderwhack

This herb has a funny name, but it has a lot of potential for those who are experiencing an underactive thyroid. This is because it has a high iodine content and iodine is one of the most important nutrients for your thyroid. By replacing iodine, it can help to improve an underactive thyroid.
    Flaxseed

You often hear about flaxseed when it comes to digestive health and while it is important for this because it is high in fiber, it also aids your thyroid. Those with underactive thyroid can help to boost their thyroid hormone ratio by consuming this herb on a daily basis. What is ideal about this herb is that you only need about one tablespoon every day to reap the full benefits.

    Evening Primrose Oil

This herb is popular for women’s health, but it is also highly beneficial for the thyroid. In addition to aiding with underactive thyroid as a whole, it can also aid with the symptoms of this condition, such as reducing hair loss and heavy menstrual periods. It is often recommended to drink this as a tea for the most benefit.

The show is sponsored by Rosalea of Blended Herbal Treasures at www.bhtshop.com

  • 8-24-2015 - In Loving Memory Of America

    in Politics

America the Beautiful, and it was beautiful a very long time ago. It was a helluva country. Today we reward children even if they run the quarter mile in just under an hour. A place where the losers, known as taxpayers, are held liable for criminal practices of financial institutions. A place where veterans are deemed unworthy of decent medical care.  A place where illegal aliens are the new "nigger".  These are but a few factors which precipitated America's demise. Before we became irresponsible parents, demented leaders and sheeplike citizens, Americans created the BEST and STRONGEST nation in the history of the world. The last of many generations that forged this America from a wilderness to landing man on the moon is dying out. We are at a moment when America must decide - Are we GREAT because we are compassionate, wise and informed, or are we to be judged for a lack of will and a loss of vision.Lets pray that engaged citizens and wise leaders arise to save this once great nation..

“A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury. From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse over loose fiscal policy, (which is) always followed by a dictatorship.”
