SORT BY Relevancy
A conversation with Gayle Foreman, Jamie Blackley, Chloe Moretz, and Joshua Leonard. Mia Hall thought the hardest decision she would ever face would be whether to pursue her musical dreams at Juilliard or follow a different path to be with the love of her life, her rebellious boyfriend, Adam. But when what should have been a carefree family drive takes the lives of her mother Kat, her father Denny, and her little brother Teddy, everything changes in an instant, and now her own life hangs in the balance as she lies in a coma in the hospital. Caught in limbo between life and death for one revealing day, she flashes back into her past, and has an out-of-body experience as she watches friends and family gather at the hospital. She must make a decision that will not only decide her future, but her ultimate fate.

The days are getting shorter and here in Virginia the humidity is beginning to wane. This means different things to different people. Some of us love the holidays and the cold weather. I love the former but hate the latter. This could also mean there are lengthy checklists of things to prepare for depending on your location in the country. Fall through winter presents very unique situations and opportunities for those of us looking to get prepared. The best use for your time is creating plans and goals for next year. So many of us go into every year with a mental list of really cool things we’d like to do or be a part of. The problem is the world impedes on that mental list and you never get any of it done.
Inspiration of the Day
“There is no passion to be found playing small,
in settling for a life that is less than the one
you are capable of living.”

Author of Long Walk to Freedom: The Autobiography of Nelson Mandela
So Now What?
I’m guessing that the people you admire through out history played big. That’s why you treasure them. They are revered because they were passionate about what they did and they didn’t cover up their light.
The problem with passion and playing big is it puts the spotlight on you. Family, friends and complete strangers will see what you’re doing. They will have an opinion about it and it may not be a good opinion. A lot of people are afraid of getting criticized and having people disapprove of them so they hide and play small.
At first somebody playing big may be laughed at and ridiculed by those still playing small because you’re breaking the un-written rule that we all should play it safe and not rock the boat. It’s so unusual to see someone shun smallness, to let themselves shine, and so willing to deal with the ridicule that they grab our attention and admiration.
It’s not easy playing big that’s why they deserve our honor and respect. That’s why they rise to the top. And because they were that passionate about their life and purpose they had no choice but to shine

Why preach the Gospel?
John 14:6 (KJV)
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 13:34 (KJV)
A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
Matthew 24:14 (KJV)
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
Matthew 28:19-20 (KJV)
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Mark 16:15 (KJV)
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
2 Timothy 4:5 (KJV)
But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
Ephesians 6:11-12 KJV Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Hebrews 4:12 (KJV)
For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
This Week- Faith Behind Bars & Beyond will continue it's series in Overcoming 101- This week we will discuss Broken in the Flesh. Have you been feeling completely demolished, Discouraged and Empty? Do you feel God has forgotten you? Thousands of Christians worldwide find themselves in this critical condition. We suffer from church hurts, ministry burn out and just plain I don't think I am called to do this. We feel like we have been left on the side of the corner to rot. Every church, Pastor and leader should listen to this broadcast to discover the state of the Christians sitting on the side lines in your church or ministry who have a burning desire to serve God and can't because there is no room at the inn. This is a growing issue in the Body of Christ. Too many believers are left to die in the wilderness because we don't want to let them in and for others who have started a ministry it seems they just can't seem to get God's word out because they are truly waiting, listening and seeking God.. But their are others taking hold of their ministries lurking about tearing down what they have built
