Divorce is a transition that half of once married couples experience. In fact, it is sometimes referred to as “uncoupling,” reflecting the lessening stigma of being divorced. However, divorce is a unique experience for each individual going through the process. It’s unusual for a couple not to have acrimonious thoughts and feelings toward their soon to be divorced partner. Leaving a relationship you thought would last forever is, to say the least, disappointing, even if you are sure it’s the “right” thing to do. Divorce always creates change, and sometimes the loss can feel unbearable, even if there is relief.
Our today's guests are Francine Baras and Nicole B. Feuer, mother and daughter, co-authors of "37 Things I Wish I’d Known Before My Divorce", and co-founders of Start Over Smart: Divorce Advisors, LLC. Our discussion will include a wealth of information about the legal and financial aspects of divorce as well as the very personal. How do I tell the children? How can I minimize the stress for me and my family?

Also if we continue to be off topic we will change the topic of the show to reflect that. Also we don't take random callers due to the issues we have had with random people in the chat rooms. We keep this a family friendly show and want to keep it that way.
The Texas NAACP and Texas League of United Latin American Citizens on Monday contended that the curriculum changes passed in May “were made with the intention to discriminate” and would have a “stigmatizing impact” on African-American and Latino students.“The State of Texas is failing to provide many of its minority students with equal educational opportunities,” documents sent to the federal department said. This is like in your face, like showing the ultimate in disrespect,” Bledsoe said. “To suggest the positive aspects of slavery or to exalt Jefferson Davis of the Confederacy is just an abomination. I mean no disrespect to people who may have had ancestors who were part of that, but it is what it is.”NewsOne

In every generation, there are men and women whom we can look up to and respect. It is amazing to me that the greatest leaders, are humble people who can talk to you as if you are a friend and at the same time lead thousands of people in any great organization.
We have met several of these great leaders and tonight I would like to share some thoughts on leadership after all this is an educational broadcast.
Capt. Jerry Prickett USN Retired teaches a class at Promise Christian University on Leadership and Management. He goes on to describe the qualities of a great leader. We should pay attention to the qualities that truly makes a person great. It's not their money, nor their position, nor their accomplishments. What truly makes a leader great is how he impacts the lives of those he comes into contact with.
I would like to share my thoughts on great leadership. A potential great leader is willing to start at the bottom, and do the little things well.

I studied Business at Indiana University, Bloomington, and completed a Bachelor's Degree in marketing communications at Columbia College Chicago in 2008. My professional work experience is in outside sales and business development for both IT and recruiting firms. I have been playing fantasy sports for over 10 years and have experience with football, basketball, baseball and hockey. I'm a strong believer that fantasy football requires the least amount of skill, a great amount of luck, and that prognostication and coverage have been watered down over the past few years because of the amount of resources available to players.
Jace Cosentino- My Fantasy Commish Co-Founder
I'm a die-hard Chicago Bears fan, first and foremost; the Blackhawks follow, trailed closely by the Bulls. I graduated from Illinois State University with a degree in psychology (no, I don't read minds). I have been playing fantasy sports for 10 years and running leagues for just as long. I'm an all around sports fan and am always interested in learning new sports (became a huge Premier League fan 3 years ago). Since my glory days of playing high school sports are gone, you can usually spot me watching a game, doing something athletic, or trying something new. In the narcissistic driven culture of pro sports, I'm still a huge believer and fan of, "the love of the game."
