Lois Howes Stops by FreshStart Radio to Talk about Rebuilding after Sandy
Lois Howes is an enthusiastic travel agent, the 1st VP of her local Chamber of Commerce, and a dedcated contributor to the re-build following the devastation of Hurricane Sandy as 1st VP of Friends of Freeport.
Beginning 25 OCT and hitting the Eastern Seaboard 29 OCT, 2012, Hurricane Sandy, a Category 3, was the deadliest and most destructive hurricane of the 2012 hurricane season. Crossing the Carribean, leaving a trail across Jamaica, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and the Bahamas, Sandy affected 24 states with its most deadly impact on New Jersey and New York.
Lois Howes was right in the thick of it, leading the charge - organizing and helping in any way possible. 14 months later, we'll chat about the experience, how it changed her life, and the ongoing needs following Hurricane Sandy.
There is still much to do...

Tune in as we Report the Spiritual Consequence of sin and the weather.
Leviticus 18:28 So do not defile the land and give it a reason to vomit you out, as it will vomit out the people who live there now. Point 1.Yesterday was Halloween, for years NYC gay population looks forward to the Gay Parade in the village. Praise God and Hurricane Sandy there was no Gay Parade!!!
Point 2 Initial estimates of Hurricane Sandy put insurance exposure in the Northeast at more than $10 billion. Some of those payouts are expected from reinsurance companies, the same ones that provide insurance to insurance companies in Florida to help them cover their risk. If reinsurance rates spike, that in turn could push up property insurance rates in Florida.
In Sodom and Gomorrah The Bible clearly states that the fire and sulfur, or brimstone, rained down "from the Lord out of the heavens" (Genesis 19:24, NIV), not upward from a volcano Homosexual is a sin and there is consequences behind these sins. As Christians we cannot remain isolated from the rising tide of homosexual social reconstruction. We need to take a stand against it so that we might promote the righteousness of God, and inform sinners of the need to repent
