    Interview With Singer Ty Shwortzz

    in Writing

Ty Shwortzz was born and raised in ONT, Canada.

From the very moment Ty could talk, music was a huge part of her life. Her father was a singer/keyboardist in the band "Back to Back" and she often went to his shows and practices.

Learning to play the Keyboard at the age of 4, she began to enjoy entertaining, even if it was just in the living room of her family home, often putting shows together for Mom and Dad and the odd family friend.

At the age of seven, she began performing in talent competitions and karaoke parties. At the age of 13, Ty began writing music and poetry.

In 2011, Ty had the opportunity to write a verse to a song for a contest, which consisted of a music video and recording session. The people who wrote the best verses became a part of the project titled "The Lean on Me Project" .

While presenting her part for the contest, another hopeful singer "Li'l Crunk", noticed her and offered to work together to create a single which would later be known as "Yeah Right". Ty was given an instrumental piece; she wrote the lyrics to it and provided lead and backup vocals.

2011 was also a big year for Ty as she performed on Canada D'EH in front of an estimated crowd of 3000. This was the first time performing her own piece from the previous contest! She also performed at an outreach for hunger event and played some of her original pieces for Jack Laytons’ Cancer Benefit.

In March, 2015, she was interviewed on "Brian The Hammer Show", which airs in L.A., with many interviews all over the world to follow as well as some overseas.

Ty will also be working together with singer/songwriter Melanie Warner (cousin of Patsy Cline).

Tha PUGILIST KOrner-Presented by Tha SPORTSKRIB

    in Sports

@wcsteelerfan, aka James E King III presents 'Tha PUGILIST KOrner, our weekly show dedicated to the art of boxing, on both the amatuer and professional levels.

As with every infant, the PUGILIST KOrner began as a seed. After listening to so many 'boxing shows', I wanted to create something totally different  Most shows I heard had hosts' and panelists' crowing their expertise and resounding boxing knowledge.  What happened to the fighter?  My show is about the fighter and this beloved Sport we watch and anticipate with baited breath.  We interview all of the fighters with a sense of respect and admiration, they deserve, for entertaining us, with their craft.

When schedules permit, I'll be joined by a guest co-host boxer, past or present,  Join us as I interview our various guests, review the bouts of the week, talk about upcoming matches, and answer questions posed by callers/listeners.  Watch for our 'Press Release', usually Tuesday morning, announcing our guest co-host and guests for the evening show.

Call in (718) 506-1506 or listen.  We look forward to having you in our audience, in the very near future.

    The SUPERYOGI Scenario

    in Books

James Connor began writing supernatural thrillers when he won a RavenSociety Award at the University of Virginia in support of his creative writing. But it wasn’t until two decades later that James felt compelled to publish stories that allowed readers to experience the deep wisdom that he gained from his 15 years of detailed Buddhist and yoga training.

James was the CEO of a successful New York ad agency for 14 years before he gave everything up to undertake a three-year isolated meditation retreat in the high-desert mountains of Arizona.

On Sunday afternoons in retreat, he’d take a break from meditating to write. What resulted was The Superyogi Scenario, a fun fantasy thriller that’s a new take on the superhero story and based on authentic verses in The Yoga Sutra and ancient Buddhist texts. He created The Superyogi Scenario as an entertaining way for people to explore the inner powers that are accessible though Buddhist and yoga teachings. Following in the footsteps of his story-telling idols C.S. Lewis, Neil Gaiman, and the Wachowskis, James is a firm believer in combining philosophy with fun.

He is also the founder of GoBeyond.org, a non-profit that teaches people how to meditate from authentic sources in the Buddhist and Yoga lineages and a blogger for the Huffington Post.

PWTR | WWE Raw 6/29/2015 - RIP Kofi

    in Wrestling

Pro Wrestling Talk Radio (also known as PWTR) is an internet radio podcast founded in March, 2009. The format of PWTR is a panel of wrestling fans discussing the hottest topics in the world of wrestling in an entertaining (and sometimes controversial) fashion.

In addition to an in-depth roundtable discussion, other segments include taking calls and questions from listeners, and interviews with wrestling personalities (including such headline-making interviews with Joey Ryan, Tough Enough winner Andy Levine, former WWE Superstar Chris Masters , 2010 Miss USA Rima Fakih, and 3x World Champion Diamond Dallas Page).

After a stint on YouTube for the latter-half of 2014, the webcast version was rebranded with PWTR returning to its podcast roots and becoming a separate entity. Following the departures of longtime hosts Jay and Charlie from the hosting panel, PWTR was re-launched in January, 2015. The current PWTR panel consists of Justin Gordon, Duke Maverick, and Manny Johnson.
