We will speak with Michael about his very unique story - a prostate cancer survivor who was rendered completely impotent as a result of the cancer and its treatment.Mr. Russer asserts that what makes this an interesting and engaging human potential story is that because of his ED (erectile dysfunction) he now experience extraordinary physical and emotional intimacy with his partner beyond anything most normally functioning couples could possibly imagine. As a result of losing his ‘manhood’ to cancer, he discovered why most couples struggle when it comes to emotional and physical intimacy. It was the ‘short circuit’ of his ED that provided the basis for this transformative insight and experience.
Our future has yet to be written. We have the ability to make it whatever we want. Yet the headlines show us another story. Let's discuss the shaping of our future. Creating a safe and fulfilling life for all. There is so much Human potential for us to discover and tap. Mastering the Art of Creation. Bringing the vision of our hearts to the front of our intentions.
Portland, OR – Often when change turns our life upside down, our natural instinct is to fight it, to try and keep our lives the same, firmly in the center of our comfort zone. But this can create more chaos in our lives and delays the inevitable.
Elana Brazile is the founder of Monuments of Human Potential, a coaching practice specializing in individuals who are going through major life transition. Elana teaches her clients to use those challenging experiences to unlock their potential and create a better life than they could have ever hoped for.
“Some transitions can be extremely emotional. You can detach from yourself and get confused and stuck very easily,” says Elana. “I help you reconnect with your logical side and approach it as you would any problem. If you don’t take action you’re going to get stuck and your world is going to pass you by.”
Elana knows firsthand how difficult major transitions can be. She was able to extract both herself and her son from an abusive relationship to recreate both her life and identity. Today, many of Elana’s clients are women just like her who find themselves facing the same incredibly difficult decision. Elana’s story serves as a model for their success.
“They’re very inspiring,” says Elana of her clients. “It doesn’t matter where they come from or where they start, watching them realize that they actually can choose the direction of their life and they have the power to decide what they want their life to look like and how they want to feel. It’s inspiring to see them take action and apply the lessons we work on.”

Empowering Human Potential with Spirituality
What do we know of the potential of a human being? What about the potential of God? Or Supreme Power? Or whatever name that you want to give irrespective of your religious affiliation?
We must come to know ourselves - not only our physical selves, but our spiritual selves.
Parents who expect more from their children usually condition them to expect more from themselves. The belief in self is something which holds tremendous impact and can have great bearing on a child's future.
We should develop physically and spiritually. We should relate to the physical world with our physical self, but at the same time, our spiritual self should be growing in awareness of the spirit world. Yet we oftentimes become so caught up in dealing only with the physical world, we lose sight that our ultimate destination is the spirit world.

What is Human Potential?
"Latent qualities or abilities that may be developed and lead to future successes or usefulness." ~ Oxford Dictionary.
Basically, it’s developing your qualities or abilities that will lead to future success.
High Potentials are individuals who "consistently and significantly outperform their peer groups in a variety of settings and circumstances. They exhibit behaviors that reflect their companies' culture and values in an exemplary manner. Moreover, they show a strong capacity to grow and succeed throughout their careers within an organization—more quickly and effectively than their peer groups do."
What ideas do you have about how to do a better job of developing young leaders? What challenges do we face and how might we overcome those?
