As President of Sweet Remedy Films: Embracing Community toward an Authentic Life, Cori's work is geared toward empowering individuals to make intelligent and healthy choices for themselves and their loved ones. She is passionate about helping society return to a focus on fulfilling a need rather than the current corporate structure which has become about creating a need. Her two documentaries are Sweet Misery and Sweet Remedy, and she has a multi-media memoir called Through the Shadows.
Few of us are taught how to deal with aging, so we’re often caught unprepared when we or our loved ones transition through the stages of life. These can be times of intense struggle, heartache, frustration, anger, depression or even denial. Yet everyone will go through it sometime, so how do we best handle it? What can we expect? Does it ever get better? Join Jon and Stephen as they discuss how to deal with aging and the stages of life.
DR. ANSARI'S HUMAN RIGHTS UPDATES, hosted by Dr. Mustafa Ansari
Tuesdays, 3pm EST email@example.com
Dr. Ansari is an international human rights lawyer and Dean of the American Institute of Human Rights. Call to speak on air at (347) 857-3293 (some shows are pre-recorded). The American Institute of Human Rights is committed to educating attorneys and human rights activists regarding United Nations human rights treaties and covenants that America has already signed and is responsible to uphold (i.e., Executive Order 13107). Online classes and certifications are offered by the American Institute of Human Rights to equip non-attorneys to file human rights communications and complaints directly to the International Court. Please listen every Tuesday, and share each broadcasts with friends and social networks. Everyone deserves protection of their rights to life, liberty, and security of person and property. Dr. Ansari believes that many justice quests that have been quashed in American courts are nevertheless eligible for fair treatment upon review by the United Nations.

Strozier got active in church and also gained his high school deploma while still incarcerated. He als became a certified cook and brick mason. Since prison release, Strozier works, counsels youths, completed reentry programs, and attends church twice or more times weekly. Strozier's last cellmate in Macon Prison was Atlanta child killer Wayne Williams.

Kelley Alsobrook was born and raised in Miami, Florida and has resided in Memphis, TN with her husband for the past fourteen years. Growing up in an abusive home was something that is known well to Mrs. Alsobrook. Being sexually, physically, and mentally abused in her youth she came to accept this kind of treatment from a man. This abuse continued into her adult hood as she became the victim of human trafficking and domestic violence. Being disconnected from her family and being a single mother she became a very easy target for a pimp that preyed on her vulnerability. She continued in this lifestyle for approx 4 years. The guilt, shame and self loathing of this lifestyle led her into drug use as her life spiraled downward. She felt there was no hope of ever escaping. Once she escaped this torturous lifestyle she was determined to help others get through these same experiences. She is now passionate about seeing those who have been beaten, broken, battered, and bruised become whole. This was the motivation for beginning Ashes2Beauty.
