Here we go, Week 6 of the 2016 season, 1/3 of the way on the road to the Super Bowl. Some would say this season has already been one of many surprises. 6 teams (3 from NFC and 3 from AFC) are underfeated to this point. The 49ers and Bears, both NFC title winners, are under 500 and trying to find their way back. Week 6 brings about some very big matchups. The Game of the Week (GoW) has the Redskins (3-1) traveling to Greeen Bay (5-0) in a HUGE matchup. The Colts and Ravens will face off in a AFC matchup that could have early playoff implications. While the Bucs take on the underfeated Panthers in a NFC South divisional game that WILL determine who's your DADDY in that division. It don't get no better than this guys, MCFL Football, let's GO!!!
I was reading in Genesis the story of Jacob and I was captivated by his life in this highly recognized biblical drama. From the very beginning, he was in competition with his brother Esau.
Many today can relate to their rivalry being brothers. The customs then were vastly different than what we see today.
Most would think nothing of a "birthright"today, but in the time of Jacob, this was huge. Esau was willing to sell his birthright for a bowl of stew. The biggest deception that played the most importance was Jacob obtaining Esau's "special blessing".
Isaac was not able to recognize Esau as Jacob concealed himself so that his father thought he was Esau. How many Fathers give their children a "special blessing" today? How many children follow the faith of their fathers deserving of that blessing?
Many times, it is a father's prayer for their children that they keep the faith. Worse yet, how many father's even care what their children do? Does it matter that your children follow the Catholic Faith?
Many father's can understand what it means to be a "prodigal father", but many do not mind, in fact many are themselves prodigals?

Cynthia inspires women to stop living life in an ordinary way and be extraordinary!
From an early age, Cynthia lived out of her comfort zone and really went for it in life. She grew up in a very small town in Massachusetts where there was not much opportunity. She always knew she wanted to do something big with her life and not let anything get in her way of achieving extraordinary success. Cynthia achieved high level positions in the Connecticut prison system, became a private investigator in Las Vegas, Nevada, has run Security and Corporate Investigation units in the Hotel/Casino/Resort Industry and is a successful entrepreneur running her mentoring company for women ‘SmartChic’. She also has a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology. Cynthia’s 20 years of work experience taught her about behavior patterns in people and the reality that many people do not make the best decisions to live their best life. Cynthia has a gift of being able to authentically relate to women, find the core reasons why they are not moving positively forward in life, then inspires them through her mentoring to positively transform themselves into living much happier, more successful lives.
SmartChic was started because Cynthia knew her passion and gift was to inspire women to know they can do absolutely anything they put their mind to in life. But, they must first take full responsibility and stop worrying about what others want them to do. She teaches women to focus on what makes them happy in life and to do what they want to do!
