Racism In Milwaukee? - Black People Need To Step Up

    in Politics Conservative

    Two Bucks

The story of Two Bucks, an East Side Bar in Milwaukee, may never recovery from an insedent that happened over the weekend.  Black patrons, for no reaon were asked to leave the bar by the owner.  Subsequently many of the employees quit and are now calling for a boycott of the bar.  There are two situations with this story that I find interesting.  We will discuss it and take your calls on this morning.

    The Milwaukee River Development Paln

Currently there are 4 developers competing to develop the downtown site on the Milwaukee river.  Court proceedings and law suites are already under way.  One must wonder what kind of deals are being made and of course what officials are participating in Quid pro quo.

I looked at this story and wondered something rather strange.  Is Common Core causing Blacks and people in poverty to be left out of opportunites.  Sure you may wonder why I am going in this direction but take a listen to the show and you will see why.

Will Hillary Clinton Be Our Next President?

African-Americans really need to look closesly at the facts. Our inner cities that are failing are a direct result of Liberal politics.  In essence this is the new slavery and we keep voting for it.

There have been no Democratic candidates that are a serious threat to Hillary Clinton step forward.  It really makes me wonder why her scandal ridden past seems to be a non-issue to them.  Benghazi, Quid pro quo deals, as well as distancing herself from her husbands crime bill issues are enough to really make one pause.  At least they should, but some how this woman has been able to get around all of this.  She has not and most likely will not sit down and do a long interview without knowing all of the questions in advance.

It tells the story a young Turkish man who leaves his family's small village, to travel to the US, to discover why his recently deceased grandfather bequeathed the family home to a woman his family has never heard of--a woman who lives in a facility for elderly Aremians. It's a novel that brings a neglected time in Turkish history to life, spanning decades, honoring the resilience of the human spirit and illustrating the depth of love.

Its protagonist, Jane, is a an orphan trying to escape from Flushing, NY, where she works in her strict uncle’s grocery store before becoming the au pair, beginning an affair with the father of the children she cares for and then fleeing to Seoul. There, she reconnects with family and works to accept who she really is.
Kirstin Valdez Quade on her short story collection Night at the Fiestas. Set in northern New Mexico, the 10 stories plunge into the fierce, troubled hearts of characters defined by the desire to escape the past or else plumb into its depths: A deadbeat father of a pregnant teen who tries to transform his life by playing the role of Jesus; a young man who discovers that his estranged father and a boa constrictor have been squatting in his grandmother’s empty house; a lonely retiree who becomes obsessed with her housekeeper; and others.

Breaking the Chains......Awake, Evolve and Grow to Succeed

    in Motivation

    I have a dream...Celebrating Our Jubilee!

Our forefathers and mothers planted trees from which we gather fruit, and dug wells from which we quench our thirst. Civil Rights Activist marched for us, died for us and pleaded for our equality.

So what are we leaving behind for our communities today? What are we fostering in the minds of our Black children? How will we strengthen our families and our communities? How will we show the power of LOVE in the world?

Fifty years ago, Dr. King's "I Have a Dream..." Speech debuted in Detroit and transformed a nation. Today, we Celebrate the Year of Jubilee and join in that movement of teaching us all to evolve in our beliefs, values and purpose for elevation of our consciousness into the greatness that lies in the Human Spirit.

Today is Cinco de Mayo, a time of celebrating Mexico's victory over France's invasion of Mexico. Let's celebrate our freedom, and make a commitment to Awake, Evolve and Grow. Let's Awake from the slumber of mediocrity and challenge ourselves to overcome the limiting beliefs formed from our past, invading our ability to live freely and fully.

Let's allow our conscious minds to Evolve into greater awareness of our potential inside, of the unity within, so we can unleash a greater power of Love to express in and through us.

And lastly, let's Grow and allow the Power within to transform our souls into expressions of light to lead our families and communities into more unity. Together, we can create a new world of peace and love.

Tune in today to learn more about Awakening, Evolving and Growing into our greastest potential!

We are powerful, and together we rise to create a new World!!

    in Politics

Bill Martinez Live-Great guests-Politically incorrect thinking-WE LOVE AMERICA

Welcome to Bill Martinez Live, hosted by an unapologetic AMERICAN U.S. Marine of Mexican descent who knows why people come to America but demands that immigrants come through the front door and that the rule of law be respected. Bill Martinez Live waves just one flag and has no use for hyphenated hearts torn between the Stars and Stripes and some other foreign banner.  We put the United States over party politics and broadcast our unstinting praise of this great land to 250 American cities through CRN, BML syndication and the ever popular Blog Talk Radio platform

Republicans & Democrats have lost a grasp on life, liberty and pursuit of happiness for America. Bill Martinez Live helps us regain it. Listen in to the show to hear every facet of the issues but keep your eye on God and the exceptionalism to which he has urged on America and its people. Our nation is at a crossroads but remember your solemn birthright fellow Americans as "We the People".  Our regular guests include former New York Lt. Governor Betsy McCaughey; Steve Evans the Movie Guy; Samantha  Mills who features spectacularly touching stories from the internet; Kevin "Coach" Collins-a NY City retired Honor Legion cop with a doctorate in Public Administration and a post doctoral degree is BS detection and Jen Horn on cultural happenings!  Would YOU like to be a rapid fire guest? Contact my producer Bill McIntosh at 305-396-2806 and leave a message if he doesnt pick up or email a 30 word intro of yourself and send us your land and cell phone numbers (if you have both) to: ocasomedia@gmail.com
