She applies well-research based therapy approaches to assist her client’s therapy goals.
Sonya provides individual, family, and group therapy to adolescents and adults. She specializes in working with individuals who have experienced traumatic events as well as those having difficulties with: depression, anxiety, grief, divorce, anger, bi-polar, sexual abuse, obsessive compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and stress management.

Most of the anger that goes on day in and day out in quiet motions and can almost go unnoticed if we are not paying attention. It is the same anger that someone who is shouting has, however it is in actions and set ups of upsetting someone for what you yourself have not resolved. From anger we put blame on everyone else but ourselves because we cannot see that our pain is driving our anger and our anger is driving our pain. How do we reach ourselves and see what we are doing to our souls and avoid getting to know ourselves? Anger is simply a flag to let us know something in us needs our attention.
