I am still riveted by Solomon Northup’s powerful life story visually reenacted in the Oscar Winning movie 12 Years A Slave. Not only is it the TRUE story of a free Black man kidnapped and thrown into slavery for 12 years before escaping to freedom. It’s a documented historical event because Northup chose to tell his OWN story shortly after gaining his freedom in 1853. Had he not had the boldness and courage of telling his story, his amazing journey might have been lost forever.
Granted, your life is probably not as perilous as Solomon Northup. But you DO have stories that are worth documenting. Daily stories of things that happen in your life each day worth jotting down in a notebook to keep forever.
And that is our topic today. How you can capture your own stories, your joys and sorrows in daily chunks that won’t take you more than 20 minutes each day. It’s the basis of my fourth book, My Personal Journal, Chronicle Your Life One Day At A Time. Listen to today’s show and find out the many ways you can journal and how it will enhance your own sense of empowerment and confidence in all that you do for yourself, for others and for the world around you.

answer is yes. The benefits of having of several sources of income include:
1. It’s easier to create several small income producing streams over one large one. For example, it’s easier to create three streams that earn $1,000 than one stream that earns $3,000.
2. It reduces the risk of being left without any income. If you’re laid off or one source of income drops, you have other sources to help you get by. Especially in home business, which has an ebb and flow, you can offset the ebbs through having more than one source of income.
3. It helps you avoid boredom in work by having different things to do every day
4. You can create income streams based on your interests, talents and passions.
1. Take out a piece of paper and write your main business product or service in the middle to start a mindmap. If you’re a virtual assistant, you’d write VA in the middle of the paper.
2. Create four spokes titled “Products,” “Services,” “Advertising/Affiliate,” and “Other” off of your main product or service.
3. Create spokes off of each of these options with ideas on how you can make money at them.

Some people say that all relationships, marriage, and love are “Hard Work,” but the work you put in can be rewarding when it’s done right. Others say that love, relationships, and marriage would never be labeled as “Hard Work” if people actually entered into these for the long haul, meaning that you’re signing up to stick together through good times and bad times so when the bad times come you don’t complain or bail. But, how you label the “Work” you put into relationships may have more to do with the person you’re with and how compatible the two of you are when it comes to problem solving, respect, and admiration, etc. Then again, maybe part of the “Hard Work” is less about the partnership and more about resolving issues of each individual so both people can heal, i.e. finding your collective cohesiveness.
Everyone enters relationships wounded in some way and the “Hard Work” may be humbling yourself to admit to flaws and do the “Work” to tackle difficult issues and challenges, making yourself a better partner for your mate. From this perspective, the "Hard Work” you do on yourself, benefits your mate and your relationship in a deeper sense. These are just a few ideas and We Want to Hear From You about how you find your relationships, marriage, and love to be “Hard Work,” if you do find them to be “Hard Work”?

1Ti 3:1 Trustworthy is the word: If a man longs for the position of an overseer, he desires a good work.
1Ti 3:2 An overseer, then, should be blameless, the husband of one wife, sober, sensible, orderly, kind to strangers, able to teach,
1Ti 3:3 not given to wine, no brawler, but gentle, not quarrelsome, no lover of money,
1Ti 3:4 one who rules his own house well, having his children in subjection with all reverence,
1Ti 3:5 for if a man does not know how to rule his own house, how shall he look after the
assembly of Yah?
