Before we get into the core of our study, we are sharing tips on how to use your Bible. You'll need these tips as you journey through this divorce, so we thought we'd use one of our shows to show you how to use your Bible.
Many of you may already know how to use your Bible, but if you haven't picked up a Bible in a while, then join us as we teach you how to find scripture on your own, how to use references and a Concordance, and learn why the books (what books??) of the Bible are arranged like they are, and find out just what kind of books they are. Just like a library contains non-fiction books, fiction books, history books, how-to books, and much more, so is the Bible a "LIBRARY" of sorts, but the good news, the Bible never will contain a "fictional book" because it is all true, and it is the inspired Word of God. The Bible does contain true stories, historical books, prophecy books, non-fiction, and much more!
The Bible is made up of "verses", and each one of those verses can be found by looking up it's "address". When scholars were bringing the Bible together, they realized that the Bible contained so much material, that it would take forever for someone to find a certain story in the Bible, so all of scripture is categorized by verses. You will be a whiz in looking up scripture after you listen to this show, and then, the following week, we will begin our Bible studies on divorce issues.
Remember, if you are not brushed up on your Bible skills, this show will be extremely important for you to know, so that you can be interactive and participate in our Journal Challenge every week.
Join us on Monday, June 29 2015 or listen to our archives for this informative episode of Treasured Word Radio. And we'd love to hear from you from time to time. Post a comment at the bottom of our screen...and we'll be back to interact with you!
Tonight's show will be different than most. We won't be covering current events and local news stories as we usually do.
Tonight we are going to talk about the Family Values and How we bring up our children in the current world with the way things are now and how they were when we were younger such as acceptable behaviors, discipline, respect, how kids dress nowadays and how different things are now that technology has taken over this upcoming generations and generations to come.

Redeeming Elevated Anointed Living Talk with Pastor 1st Lady Donna Hall.
In light of the current issues facing the Church in today's society, it is important for Believers of Christ to know how to respond to the culture in which we have been chosen to live in. Is the Bible still relevant? Does it speak to today's issues? Is it possible to know how God feels about today's happenings? What should the "church" be doing in this hour?

I have a dream...Celebrating Our Jubilee!
Our forefathers and mothers planted trees from which we gather fruit, and dug wells from which we quench our thirst. Civil Rights Activist marched for us, died for us and pleaded for our equality.
So what are we leaving behind for our communities today? What are we fostering in the minds of our Black children? How will we strengthen our families and our communities? How will we show the power of LOVE in the world? How are we Leading Change?
Fifty years ago, Dr. King's "I Have a Dream..." Speech debuted in Detroit and transformed a nation. Today, we Celebrate our Jubilee and join in that movement, teaching us all to evolve in our beliefs, values and purpose for the elevation of our consciousness for unity of all.
Today, we are summarizing the 2015 PowerNetworking Conference hosted by Dr. George C.Fraser, author of Success Runs in Our Race. This event is to empower African-American Professionals to Learn, Earn and Return to their communities, empowering Blacks economically, psychologically, culturally and physically.
Being predominantly African American, the City of Detroit is an iconic city to help inspire economic empowerment, political empowerment, and social empowerment by unifying our messages of self-worth so we confidently work together and create viable communities creating opportunities for our black children. Our children must begin to see from us in their daily lives the vision that Dr. King left us with so they remain filled with hope, and pursue to excel accordingly.
It's time to re-evaluate ourselves, our community, and cease losing our power, by strategically applying economic and marketing principles so we are stronger as a Community economically.
We are powerful, and together we rise!
There may not be another team in the AFC w/ higher expectations in 2015 than the Indianapolis Colts. Fans still feel that the team was cheated during the AFC Championship game against the Patriots, & perhaps rightfully so. This team should have a chip on their shoulders after getting obliterated 45-7. Many believe this team is one step closer to obtaining another Super Bowl trophy & maybe they are. But if this unit is going to get over the hump then quarterback Andrew Luck has got to limit his turnovers. The guy threw 4 picks during last year's playoffs, including 2 costly INT's against New England. If he does that, there's no limit to what this team can accomplish. & w/ the off-season additions of wide receiver Andre Johnson & running back Frank Gore, Luck may finally have enough offensive help to capture a Lombardi trophy. Those guys may be nearing the end of their careers but they still have enough in them to make another Super Bowl run in 2015. I'm anxious to see what the defense will look like. Despite recording 41 sacks last year, this team still surrendered a lot of points, particularly in games against Pittsburgh & New England (twice). Bringing in linebacker Trent Cole is a nice pickup. He'll get a chance to help make that defense even better. There's a very bright future in Indy but can they live up to expectations? How will they respond after playing extremely poorly in the conference title game? Tune into "The Rocket Sports Breakdown" Tuesday June 30th @ 10:30am in another 32 for 32 NFL team coverage. Rocket Nation, get ready for a power trip.
