We all were born with Instinct. We all still have instinct and will throughout our lives. Why do we not use it? It is our strongest Ally and yet we put it down, throw it out, and we think that it is silly because it pushes to do the impossible and we think the impossible is something we cannot do! The irony of how we treat our instincts is that they are always right and we start looking for something to replace what we already know. Desire occurs when we have a strong feeling of wanting to have something or wishing for something to happen. It's important to acknowledge that desire is a sense of longing or hoping for a person, object, or outcome- that we all experience. We all long for something.
Marketing and advertising companies use desire to help their clients attract customers. In fact, they use psychological research on desire to determine how people are stimulated to find more effective ways to induce consumers into buying a given product or service. We can see the outward manifestations of desire, but what are the inner longings of your heart. What are you longing for? What are your heart's desire?
Provided that Bob doesn't delay his show again you'll be hearing his views on "Procrastination" and how it can destroy your business, your life and even in some cases your sneakers. What? Tune in to hear another of Bob's stories that ties into his topic on "I really want too but maybe later...or maybe now"!

What are the consequences when public servants, employed by the taxpayers, violate the public's trust? The city of Chicago erupted in protest over the Thanksgiving weekend after the release of the dashcam video graphically showing the killing of 17 year old Laquan McDonald by police officer Jason Van Dyke in 2014. For an entire year, this video has been withheld, and with its court ordered release came a series of questions as to who was involved in the coverup. Young Laquan, a ward of the State, should have received more care, support, and intervention, it seems, rather than to be shot to death for carrying a knife with which he allegedly was puncturing car tires. Illinois State Representative Mary Flowers joins us today to discuss the many levels of official misconduct that need to be addressed by elected officials as well as the voting public, in holding those accountable who violate the public trust. Can new laws and new regulations protect citizens from police abuse? Should the entire police force be scrapped and all forced to re-apply? Should mandatory psychological exams be instituted before an officer is hired? How do we weed out those who have already racked up complaints for excessive force, before they kill someone else
