BWE Online Bible Study with Minister Lisa Kai

    in The Bible

We should read and study the Bible because it is God's Word to us. The Bible is literally "God-breathed" (2 Timothy 3:16). In other words, it is God's very words to us. There are so many questions that philosophers have asked that God answers for us in Scripture. What is the purpose to life? Where did I come from? Is there life after death? How do I get to heaven? Why is the world full of evil? Why do I struggle to do good? In addition to these "big" questions, the Bible gives much practical advice in areas such as: What do I look for in a mate? How can I have a successful marriage? How can I be a good friend? How can I be a good parent? What is success and how do I achieve it? How can I change? What really matters in life? How can I live so that I do not look back with regret? How can I handle the unfair circumstances and bad events of life victoriously?

We should read and study the Bible because it is totally reliable and without error. The Bible is unique among so-called "holy" books in that it does not merely give moral teaching and say, "Trust me." Instead, we can read it for ourselves.

LONG PAST Time, Bernie - GET OUT. Can't Believe the Repubs Chose Trump? I Can.

    in Politics

Right NOW, Hillary is far ahead of where she was against Obama in 2008 - which means it IS time for Bernie to DROP OUT.

    Even George Takei thinks so.

Hillary was 4 points ahead of Bernie in Indiana's Primary polls. Now she has just widened that gap. We’ll know tomorrow when their polls close, and I'll be right here with the available results.

Bernie wants a contested convention? That is being as STUPID as the repubs. NOT GONNA HAPPEN, and I'll tell you why.

Also - Even if Cruz FORCES a Contested/Brokered/Open Republican Convention, I do believe Trump WILL be their nominee.

Do you disagree? Join me - LIVE - Tonight at 11:30, and we'll POLITELY "duke it out" on The Country Diva Show.

  • Happy Hour With The Crew: How do we really feel about the $20 bill

    in Radio

Tubman, an African-American and a Union spy (or was she ) during the Civil War, would bump Jackson — a white man known as much for his persecution of Native Americans as for his war heroics and advocacy for the common man — to the back of the $20, in some reduced image along with the White House. Tubman would be the first woman so honored on paper currency since Martha Washington’s portrait briefly graced the $1 silver certificate in the late 19th century. While Hamilton would remain on the $10, and Abraham Lincoln on the $5, images of women would be added to the back of both — in keeping with Mr. Lew’s intent “to bring to life” the national monuments depicted there. The picture of the Treasury building on the back of the $10 bill would be replaced with a depiction of a 1913 march in support of women’s right to vote that ended at the building, along with portraits of five suffrage leaders: Lucretia Mott, Sojourner Truth, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Alice Paul and Susan B. Anthony, who in more recent years was on an unpopular $1 coin until minting ceased. How do we really feel about it?

I did not forget to post my show! Technical difficulties prevented me from posting and I was NOT going to post until I had it all together. Due to our computer crash 2x about a week ago it's been a little crazy for me but when is it not you might be asking? That's question I would certainly like to know when.  Everything seems to be getting back in place slowly. It just goes to show me that I can never get to complacent, everything has been working fine for a while now it the technical part of the show. Well I got tied up in other things and put off my back-up and of course that is when everything would crash right.... so I had to re-design some stuff.. either way to make a long story short I'm here and I'm up so how you doing?
