Everything w/KathyB,Malik Bostic, Tammi Walker, Tem'Ti Sahu Ra, Minister Ed Ward

    in Entertainment

Source Nation! Join us tonight for another amazing segment of Male Boxx Sundays as our Hosts welcome exciting and dynamic guests into the studio.

     6:15- Dr. Malik Bostic

Dr. Bostic has served as an Educator of the Social Sciences in the Atlanta Metropolitan area for over 10 years.  As an educator, Dr. Bostic?? experienced a period of deep self-analysis.  He realized the failing trend in education is not necessarily within the dogmatic practices employed by the public education boards, but rather how individuals view themselves and others by what is taught.  Dr. Bostic realized an instructional approach that yields desired results needed to be implemented; an approach which focuses on the individual's role in learning, rather than the individual being categorized by the current standards of learning and production in the workplace.

7:15 Tammi C. Walker & Tem Ti SahuRa

Tammi has been able to maneuver through some very tough ordeals such as: surviving cancer twice, the passing of both of my parents, leaving an abusive relationship, etc. and feels in her heart that it is not what happens to us but how we respond to our challenges.

    Tem Ti SahuRa

As early as Tem's mid-teens & during his business college years, Tem followed an urge to understand ‘purpose,’ & how to heal if issues resulted from not fulfilling that purpose. The ending of a turbulent relationship became the catalyst for change that set Tem’Ti on his current path.

    8 pm-Minister Ed Ward

Join Minister Ward as he continues Part 2 of last weeks discussion, Standing In The Gap ll.

Call in and be a part of the conversation at 619-924-0933.  You've heard it here from your favorite radio station, Source Radio Network.

Time For Change or Change with Time (Encore)

    in Entertainment

They say there's "nothing new under the sun"... So if history really repeats itself why does everything seem so brand new? Does time really shape us into the people we are and determine the people we become? While some of us view change as being untainted there are others who fear it. Host Anah Mae is "live in the mischief" once again & this time she's doing a little bit of time traveling. It's obvious that in 2014 things are MUCH different than they probably ever were but is this a benefit or a hindrance? What about our children...is it possible that they are growing up too fast? Tune into M.A.N. M.A.D.E. RADIO, let's talk about it!

ALL INDIE, UNDERGROUND, LOCAL ARTISTS, & MANAGEMENT can submit music and interview requests to TheCaramelFoxx@Gmail.com to be played during the broadcast.

The Highs and Lows of Single Fathers Raising Daughters

    in Entertainment

This week on WTTA, our topic of discussion will be quite interesting.  After airing, “The Delicate Dynamics of Mothers and Daughters”, I received a message from a male listener who shared some of his experiences as a single father and his relationship with his daughter.  He suggested I do a show about the topic and volunteered to share his experiences.  Within the last two weeks, I had a chance to connect with another single father of a daughter who was also willing to share his experiences.

Tim and Vince will give their unique perspective on being a single parent and what that entails. When we hear the title 'single parent', most of us naturally assume a female is the head of household.  In reality, there are quite a few single dads out there playing the role of dad AND mom.  I can testify that raising a male child as a single mom definitely has its challenges.  I’m curious to learn if we share similar experience and how they handle all of the little nuances that come with trying to raise a secure, intelligent woman.

I’d like to know: How do you handle the hair issues?  Dating? Her period? Do you date a lot?  How soon is too soon to introduce women to daughters? How do you deal with the attitudes?  I definitely have questions lol.

The show will air Sunday, April 26, 2015 at 5:00 EST.  The Guest Call-In number is (713) 955-0703.

Hope you can join the conversation.

    Peace & Kind Regards,

    Tonja
