She says "Where do I start?" With so many avenues and roads to take, one has to be careful in what is known as the Industry Of Sharks. Let m say this as the owner o 3D Plus Modeling Company, I work with models on a daily basis. New to Seasoned models find themselves with their backs agaist the wall when the WRONG pic gets posted.
My Special Guest this evening is Cynthia "Century Huney" Parks... she is a BBW (Adult Plus Entertainer). She is joing us tonight to talk about her life as a BBW as well as her trying to transition into the Plus Fashion industry. Cynthia stated that, " I can be in a matching bra and panty set or lingerie and it's nasty yet they can pose in the same and it's catalog.
Yes, I understand that BBW is all about being sexy but isn't that the goal of everyone at the end of the day." She further went on to state, "all parts of this sexy selling industry, is about selling a product, and at the end of the day both sides of the fashion industry, be it Entertainment or Fashion are aiming for the same goal which a repeat constant revenue."

Catrice has made it her mission to prove to herself that fear is a liar by continuing to overcome any challenges presented to her. She is one to never accept where she currently may be, as the furthest place she could ever go. Whether it was leaving the comfort and stability of Atlantic City, New Jersey, her native home; leaving family, friends, and the life she’s known to move to Atlanta, GA. Or whether, it is traveling and studying abroad on foreign lands for months at a time. Or lastly, satisfying her inner daredevil, with such activities as bungee-jumping, shark cage diving, and parasailing; this smart, educated mother continues to inspire all to be fearless. Living in the projects most of all my childhood life, made me appreciate life even more today. I was raised in Newark, NJ in three different projects, up to the age of seventeen. I would love to take you on my journey, from a child living in the projects to the woman that I have become. Here’s my story, reminiscing and growing up in the projects.

20 floors and concrete walls, Manhattanville Projects is the place that I called my home for several years. Living in the projects was fun, challenging and definitely a learning experience. To the outside world we lived in the ghetto, the slums the hood, but I called it my home. Take a look into my life growing up as a young girl from the project into a woman, mother, wife and author that is a product of the projects I grew up in. The projects made me who I am today.

The massive success of “Whiskey & Wine Vol. 1” kept the band on the road for the most part of 2014. The first single “That Was The Whiskey”, co-written with Nashville songwriter Lori McKenna (Faith Hill, Little Big Town, Hunter Hayes), premiered on CMT trending in the Top 10 and was nominated in the "Country Song" category at The 13th Annual Independent Music Awards. When the New York based, alt-country female rockers do something, they do it big. Catapulted into the national spotlight in 2005 with a groundbreaking major label debut that landed them in the top 20 of the Billboard Heatseekers chart for an entire year.
Best known for relentless touring and masterful musicianship, the band played upwards of 280 shows a year in their early days. Founding sisters Cathy and Kristen Henderson have always had the same philosophy. Play better than the boys and make sure the fans feel like part of the family. Catchy songs, has allowed this self-sustained group to maintain her independence and leave an indelible mark on an industry best known for leaving girl (bands) behind.
In a business riddled with pitfalls, the fans have been the one thing Antigone Rising count on. Their first independent fan-funded CD (2000's "Rock Album") raised ten thousand dollars via checks through snail mail before the internet ever kicked into high gear. Their fan funded effort for "23 Red" raised quadruple that number, with fan perks including bowling and kickball with the band, private house concerts, and band members making personal happy birthday phone calls. Their latest campaign through PledgeMusic reached 154% of its goal within weeks. The fans are the lifeblood of Antigone Rising and have always been the most critical part of the formula.
