Detaining & Jailing: The Corporate Way on "I Take LIBERTY With My Coffee"

    in Politics

As I reported on earlier this week for The Fifth Column News twice in the past fifteen days, two separate class action lawsuits, one in U.S. District Court, one in Grady County Superior Court, were filed naming Red Hills Community Probation (RHCP) LLC, its CEO Margaret B. Crutchfield, and the cities of Cairo, Pelham and Bainbridge, GA, as defendants.  The Federal case, Edwards, et al, v Red Hills Community Probation LLC, et al, filed by the Southern Center for Human Rights, also names probation officers and members of various police departments. The state case, Green v Red Hills, et al, alleges the defendants violated a number of state statutes including various RICO laws as well. The two cases, though not connected in any way, arise out of nearly identical facts and the same pattern of conduct. Joining me this morning to discuss the merits of the case is Attorney for the Plaintiff in Green, K, Todd Butler. Attorney Butler will discuss the allegations and the law supporting his decision to advance a RICO legal argument to the court. Along with the improper and illegal actions of a corporation acting "under color of state law", for the sole purpose of profit.  I will be covering the latest important news subjects as well as our weekly education battle updates. Longtime Activist, Radio Host, Journalist and Coffee Party Director Bobby Rodrigo's show "I Take LIBERTY With My Coffee" on Coffee Party USA Radio every Sunday Morning at 8:30AM EDT. Advocating engagement, pointing out the Constitution is the Rule of Law and why it should remain so. Booby attacks Money in Politics & political party blind allegiance hoping to stop corruption & tyranny. Plus join us Sunday Morning 8:30 AM EDT

Family Relationships: It's Not Too Late to Reboot

    in Religion

    Episode: 20150425

    A 90-minute episode

On this edition of Cross Encounters Radio.....

    1. Tony travelled to Butler, PA (30-40 minutes north of Pittsburgh), with his three younger sisters. Butler is where Tony's generation of Miano children were born. Tony will share some deeply personal details about the trip, which was the first time in more than 40 years Tony and his sisters have returned together to Butler. Tony learned, and he saw firsthand, that it is not too late to reboot family relationships.

    2. "And the Lord's servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, correcting his opponents with gentleness. God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth, and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will" (2 Timothy 2:24-26).

The above passage of Scripture includes a series of imperative, governing principles for life on and off "the box." Tony, Richard, and Chris will discuss what they are and how important they are today, especially in a world driven by social media and other forms of impersonal, personal communication.

Catharsis Empathy w/SPECIAL GUEST Author Marilyn "Slyce" Brown

    in Romance

Marilyn Brown published her first book “Dream Killers” in 2010 and 1 year later started “Slyce The Book Club”. She lives by “Each one, Teach one” philosophy. She is the CEO of “O.G. PUBLICATION” PRESENTS. Marilyn has been a published author for the past four years and have written “DREAM KILLERS, FOREVER A GANGSTA AND G-4-LIFE.” These books are in the process of being revised and re-released under Marilyn’s own imprint “O.G.” (Only God) Publication. Dream Killers will be re-released in December of 2014. Some collaborations that Marilyn has participated in are with Aija Butler on a book called “THE JOURNEY.”

TOPIC: Catharsis Empathy refers to a time in which one or more people need to vent, or let various emotions out, and have the feeling that the person they are venting with is right there with them, on their side, is joining with them without criticism, and is helping bad feelings come out.

Often when there are pent-up, negative feelings and the dam breaks to let them out, lots of things get said that make no real sense unless you understand the words just help the feelings get vented or experienced better.  It’s not to be taken seriously, but instead understood with empathy.

Bulls & Blackhawks Begin Playoff Push

    in Sports

The Chicago Bulls and Chicago Blackhawks have each begun their respective playoff series with middling results.  Despite a 2-0 series lead over the Milwaukee Bucks, the Bulls have looked vulnerable to double teams and traps, and have struggled with taking care of the basketball.  Derrick Rose had a successful Game 1, his first playoff game since 2012, but had a rough night shooting the ball in Game 2.  The injury roller coaster continues to swing up and down for this team as it tries to find a playoff rhythm.  The Blackhawks, meanwhile, managed to steal Game 1 of their series vs the Nashville Predators and take a 2-1 series lead into tonight's Game 4. Patrick Kane is back, Coach Joel Quenneville has used varying lineups, and the goalie controversy is swirling in Chicago.  Corey Crawford sits again tonight, and 26 year old rookie Scott Darling gets the start in net for the Hawks.  I'm breaking down these two playoff series so far, and looking ahead to tonight's game between the Blackhawks and the Predators.  All this and your phone calls at (347) 327-9183!
