Like many of you, several members of our family have served in the United States Military. We have family that have served as Firemen, Police Officers, and other emergency services. We honor all of you today with this show! We understand that the call of duty affects those that serve and their friends and family. Today is the 147th year our nation has honored those that gave the ultimate sacrifice of laying down their life in service to another! Here at your place, we have given honor by sharing stories of our brave men and women who have recieved the highest honors for service above and beyond the call of duty. We shared with you a two part story with my son and his wife on his service in Iraq. My son returned from Iraq with PTSD (Post Tramatic Stress Disorder) and TBI (Tramatic Brain Injury). They were very open with how this effected them. I remember the nights we had soldiers call from Iraq letting us know they enjoyed this show! I remember the fear in one man's voice as he asked us to pray for his unit. We hope to honor them tonight with this show. The last thing we want is to stir up your emotions and then you do not feel a call to personally honor these brave men and women. Pease remember to take time today to pray for the families and friends of our brave fallen men and women. Then in your own way, show thanks for their service. We are shairing a program with you that is helping our wounded vets. It's called "The Wounded Warrior Project". http://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/ You can go to their web site to find what they do. For less than most of us pay for a good meal you can provide monthly support for this program that aids your returning injured warriors. Is your grattitude worth less then $20 a month? Please, check out this great program!
Sacrifices are made on a daily basis for us to have the right to be free. Our armed forces are sent to dark desolate places with no frills of life that we take for granted. Our law enforcement are endangered every time they have to answer a call that we place through 911. Our Firefighters risk their lives with man's greatest threat, Fire.
You will have the opportunity to hear the hearts of these brave Men & Women from various areas of service. I Salute You!
Welcome to a night honoring the memory of America's fallen soldiers and those who served our country. Listen to our conversation and the patriotic music being played. Both Felix and Dr. Marc served in the National Guard, so today's show is very special for them both! If you know the words to the songs, sing along with our "dynamic duo." Call us at 646-595-3275 and sing along. Remember your coffee, America's favorite drink!!!

THOSE WHO WANT TO CALL IN MAY DO SO, THE NUMBER WILL BE SHOWN ON THE SCREEN. ALL I WOULD ASK IS THE NAME, RANK, BRANCH OF SERVICE OF THE ONE TO BE HONORED AND A VERY SHORT SYNOPSIS (1 MINUTE) OF HIS HEROISM. I WANT THIS TO BE A MOVING MOMENT FOR ALL OF US FOR THEY DESERVE TO BE REMEMBERED BY A GRATEFUL NATION. THE SHOW WILL BE LIVE AT 6PM (ET) AND THEN AVAILABLE ON DEMAND.
LET'S HONOR THOSE WHO HONORED US. GOD BLESS AMERICA AND MAY HER HEROES REST IN HIS TENDER CARE.
From the book GOD IS THE ISSUE by Bill Bright...let's talk
Our Grandfathers, mothers, sons and daughters fought valiantly for our freedom today. And while the barbecue picnics, dinners and fireworks are a great time to spend with our families, friends and loved ones...which were also free to enjoy, we must not forget how much that freedom cost us. Our brave men and women of the armed forces fought through pain, agony, blood, sweat and tears for every citizen of the United States as well as for each other so that we could experience the great joy of freedom on American soil. But there is indeed another kind of freedom we as children of God must not forget.....Our freedom in Christ. And yes it came with a heavy price tag, one that would lead our Lord and savior to the cross being spat upon, cursed at, mocked and shamed for all the world to see. Our sin nailed him there and freed us from the bondage of sin. For some of us we still find ourselves battling and struggling with the same issues of sin. May God help us to not forget what that freedom cost, and may he prick our hearts and minds to remember the great price and ultimate sacrifice of Jesus by living in the true freedom found in Him rather than staying inslaved to sin. This would be good for us to reflect and recall Christ great love for us, which shows how much we honor the price of our spirtual freedom.??

This week The LOL Show will honor our good friend Randy "Scobubble" Traylor as he continues his battle with cancer. He last cut up with us on our inaugural first broadcast and it was epic. The Best of Scobubble. Listen in on media player or call in at 347-945-6867
Memorial Day is a time to honor those brave Heroes who did not make it home. A common theme on the show is that of the "Blank Check" signed by those who take the oath to defend the constitution and the American way of life. Sometimes the price ultimately paid for our freedoms is the life of someone who put on that uniform. The Memorial Day Special which airs a day after the holiday is set to honor these heroes. We encourage people to call in with poetry to read, stories to tell; and messages to spread. Let's make this the biggest, best episode of Freedom's hands yet!
***There will also be a special announcement that will explain the change from Monday Nights to Tuesday Nights***
On Memorial Day, we honor and remember the men and women who gave their lives in service of our country.
President John F. Kennedy said "My fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country." Coach Joyce Barrie says "ask what you can do for our veterans." Take this opportunity to support our veterans, to make a difference, not just today, but everyday. Appreciate the veterans and be sure to let them know you care.
Rev. Marcos Miranda will talk about the significance of this Federal Holiday. He will lead us in prayer for our veterans and their families. Rev. Dr. Daniel Delgado will talk about his experiences in the Marines, his medical discharge and why we must never forget our fallen heroes.
Of course we LOVE to see women chase their dreams. Of COURSE we LOVE to see talent become an inspiration to those who aspire to be.......
