The Best Person For President Is On Blog Talk Radio At 5:30pm - Curtis Clinton

    in Elections

The Title says it all. Why do I say it. It Makes sense. I come from your place, am not campaigning for your money, am not a Politician, will be among the best smart Commander-In-Chiefs, even protecting our military men and women; will simply correct our Tax Code; get to the right size and say for government; dismantle discrimination wherever it is; combat violence on children/women/men; see to better laws/economy/society; punch a hole in pollution and disease; clear up immigration. I have no money for campaigning / travelling / eating rich food on your money. I trust that if our country succeeded in hearing Paul Revere's voice, we can do it again by the free word of mouth and the Write-In Ballot on Election Day. I can be the voice of people who have been shuttered out by political money, business donors & lobbyists. This is a chance for a real beginning to electing trustworthy Presidential, non-Political-Politicking, money grubbing candidates. Do you want to hear the truth coming from the White House for a change. If you want better and the change that lots of people talk about but is never seen because people didn't really mean it, or, did not have the courage to see it through to electing just such a person I am here for you. Politicians know that you would not kick them out of office for fooling you. Your only guarantee is me and 120,000,000 Write-In Ballots. I will not be on any Political ballot and that is good news for you. If that many are cast, we will not have a divided country or Congress. You need to start at the top and work down. You need a leader who will work to the bottom of things. I am the person. Only someone closer to your way of life and means can do this. An ordinary person like me can fix our Political mess in Washington - not Politicians of any Party. They’re the mess. Give me a try or keep the same old same in place.. bwell c2it c2 Curtis Clinton.

    STATE OF NIGERIA’S UNION

    in Motivation

    THIS WEEK’S TOPIC OF DISCUSSION:

Is Nigeria Heading Towards Deconstruction or Reconstruction?

We are inviting you to join the conversation between Nigerians at home and abroad as we collectively explore the “State of the Nigeria’s Union.” We welcome debates, opinions and analysis from pundits representing all political parties, as well as regional, cultural, and circular perspectives.

The pressing questions are: Is Nigeria heading towards deconstruction or reconstruction?

Diaspora Nigerians are among the best and brightest on the world’s stage but they do not have the privilege to vote in Nigeria elections because the Nigerian government does not currently grant voting rights to its citizens abroad.

It is time for Nigerians worldwide to have a genuine conversation about the country they want. We hope this will provide an opportunity to weigh in on this very important election.

Join the conversation on AV Teleforums.
Follow us as we take the conversation to the streets of New York City on Friday night.

    The World is listening!

Wanda's Picks Radio Show: State of Black Oakland 2015

    in Art

This is a black arts and culture site. We will be exploring the African Diaspora via the writing, performance, both musical and theatrical (film and stage), as well as the visual arts of Africans in the Diaspora and those influenced by these aesthetic forms of expression. I am interested in the political and social ramifications of art on society, specifically movements supported by these artists and their forbearers. It is my claim that the artists are the true revolutionaries, their work honest and filled with raw unedited passion. They are our true heroes. Ashay!

    1. State of Black Oakland Organizers Noni Sessions and Turha Ak, join us to talk about the event, Saturday, March 28, 2015, 10-4 at Geoffrey's Inner Circle in Downtown Oakland.

    2. We close with an interview (part 1 of a series) with Mrs. Colia LaFayette Clark, Civil Rights Leader, Veteran Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee (SNCC) Organizer in Selma, Jackson and Montgomery in the early 1960s; Recipient of the Bridge-Crossing Jubilee Freedom Flame Award; Life-long Activist for Black Liberation and Social Justice. 032415 Francine DelMonte-Chair Niagara USA Development Corporation

    in Politics

For the first time in a long time, all three cities in Niagara County are having a mayor's race.

In Lockport, the folks there, are discussing the first announced candidate to run against the incumbent Mayor, Anne E. McCaffrey. Michael J. Pillot, a retired policeman who lost races for mayor of Lockport in 2007 and 2011, is trying again. It's still early so there may be others.

In North Tonawanda, people seem to be a little more tight lipped about a run against the incumbent mayor.

North Tonawanda Mayor Arthur G. Pappas is still on his political honeymoon.

Before becoming mayor, Pappas was on the North Tonawanda School Board for 17 years, including a decade as its president.

He was handily elected last November to fill the seat of alderman-at-large following the sudden death of Robert Clark, but after just two weeks as alderman he was tapped to become mayor when then Mayor Ortt resigned to become state senator.

Back at home we are starting to see how this year's campaign is shaping up. Alicia Laible, former Democrat City Committee Chairperson here in Niagara Falls is announcing her 2nd bid to run for Niagara Falls city Council.

Like it or not, the Modern Diposal contract is good for five years, this is no longer about Modern, this is about the city managing this service in a way that it is adequate, fair and cost-effective.

Now let's get to our guest former assemblywoman and now chairman of the board of USA Niagara development Corporation Francine DelMonte.
