Even the most casual observer of the risk and insurance industries can easily see the “fingerprints” of government on the process and results. Legislation, litigation and regulation are much of the process.  The change that is the ACA is just one large example.   Even the most casual observer of government can easily see the “fingerprints” of politics and grassroots on the process and hence the outcomes.

In the past two decades, Brian Feldman has lived and worked at the intersection of healthcare, grassroots and politics.  As a founder of the Edison Group and now as a Senior Partner with Allison Partners – Brian will provide us with insight into the past, present, and future of the art of politics and the people and groups that determine the outcome.

    Facts about...Buying Disability Insurance

    in Entertainment

The host of Lets Chat Radio has been a licensed insurance benefits counselor for 6 years working in the life and health insurance markets and today will discuss disablilty insurance.  Get your pencil and paper ready !

Nearly one-third of U.S. workers will become disabled at some point in their career before reaching retirement, according to a 2009 estimate from the Social Security Administration. Yet the federal agency says that 70% of employees aren't covered by private long-term disability insurance. Social Security disability benefits are available for certain disabled workers, but the average payout is only 40% of a person's income and the allowance rate for initial claims can be as low as 30% in some areas of the U.S.

Individual disability insurance is truly a basic concept. It is an insurance product designed to replace anywhere from 45-60% of your gross income on a tax-free basis should a sickness or illness prevent you from earning an income in your occupation. Your most important asset is your ability to bring home a paycheck, DI makes sure that regardless of any adverse changes to your health, you are able to provide for yourself and your family. Every disability insurance policy from every insurance company is very different, this is not a product to simply shop for the most competitive rate. To buy the cheapest disability insurance policy on the market is to throw money away. The odds of getting paid a monthly benefit under a cheap contract may be significantly lower than receiving benefits from a quality contract. The goal of this show is to provide you with information to make an educated decision on your own.      I will provide you with information regarding the major features of a disability insurance policy so that you may better understand how to read a disability insurance policy. THE DAILY COMPLAINT (CHAMPION MORTGAGE/HOMEOWNERS INSURANCE/ESCROW (FPI) FRAUD)

    in Finance

    TODAY'S SPOTLIGHT:

CHAMPION MORTGAGE HOMEOWNER'S INSURANCE ABUSES LAPSE OF INSURANCE CLAIMS FORCE-PLACED INSRUANCE ESCRPW FRAUD CONSUMER RIGHTS BEN LAWSKY NYDFS CFPB RESPA HUD

    "the daily complaint"

Every weekday we answer client complaints on The Daily Complaint to provide direction and resources for both the person complaining as well as other consumers experiencing similar issues whether it be mortgage fraud, loan servicing escrow issues, loan modification runarounds or denials, short sale refusals, deed in lieu negotiations and credit card debt collector abuses and fraud violations.

I routinely look for posts to answer in hopes that it will not only bring optimism to those homeowners and borrowers in distress but also some basic information to assist in fighting the banks that are "too big to fail" like Bank of America and Citi but yet don't appreciate the bailout that we provided in their time of need.  The debt collectors like Ocwen and Nationstar are simply just piranhas but they can be beat at their own game too just like the big banks can be defeated.

We are committed to answering consumer complaints and addressing everyday credit and debt issues on The Daily Complaint and I thank you for your continued support!

We hope you enjoy the Show...

BUSINESS 101 - PART 4 - BUSINESS INSURANCE; COPYRIGHT AND TRADEMARK

    in Religion

    BUSINESS 101 - PART 4

    BUSINESS INSURANCE
    BUSINESS COPYRIGHT
    BUSINESS TRADEMARK

If your business is an LLC or a corporation, your personal assets are protected from business liabilities; however, neither business structure is a substitute for liability insurance, which covers your business from losses.

Insurance coverage is available for every conceivable risk your business might face. Cost and amount of coverage of policies vary among insurers. You should discuss your specific business risks and the types of insurance available with your insurance agent or broker. Your agency can advise you on the exact types of insurance you should consider purchasing.

Registering a trademark for a company name is pretty straightforward. Many businesses can file an application online in less than 90 minutes, without a lawyer’s help. The simplest way to register is on the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office’s Web site,www.uspto.gov.

    What is copyright?

Copyright is a form of protection grounded in the U.S. Constitution and granted by law for original works of authorship fixed in a tangible medium of expression. Copyright covers both published and unpublished works.

    What does copyright protect?

Copyright, a form of intellectual property law, protects original works of authorship including literary, dramatic, musical, and artistic works, such as poetry, novels, movies, songs, computer software, and architecture. Copyright does not protect facts, ideas, systems, or methods of operation, although it may protect the way these things are expressed.
