If you have made the decision to integrate a firearm into your home/personal defense plan, that is great. But what type of firearm are you going to need? What are the specific questions you need to ask yourself before deciding on a firearm? And what impact does bringing a firearm into your home and keeping it available to you have on your home, family, guests? We touched on this a couple of weeks ago but I want to talk more about it tonight, as well as talk to folks about making sure you are staying on top of your "Dry Fire Game". Your dry fire game is not just aligning your sights and then holding them on the target while you squeeze the trigger. It covers every single thing you would do with the firearm except loading live rounds and firing it. My definition of a good dry fire game includes every thing you will do with the firearm in your hands. From retrieving it from its station or drawing it-to putting it back in the holster or returning it to station. Including sights, sighting and trigger squeeze, failures and stoppages, practicing magazine changes, reloading cylinders or single loading rifles, using your firearm and working the mechanical operations of it one handed, off handed, laying down, kneeling, on your back etc., movement techniques with the firearm in your home. Every single thing you can possibly imagine yourself doing with your personal defense firearm. Running through these tasks in your mind and then performing them physically on a regular basis. Imagining scenarios or acting them out and making decisions about what you will do and how you will respond to as many situations as you can, before you have to make those decisions. Be sure and call in with your suggestions and ideas for a home/personal defense firearm and why you would use it or suggest it, and what you would suggest for others to use.
Hope to see you here!

Nosso Lar (Portuguese for “Our Home”) is the name of the spirit colony that Andre Luiz describes in this first book of his collection. In this vibrant narrative, the author offers us his observations and discoveries regarding life in the spirit world, acting as a sort of reporter who records his own experiences. It reveals a pulsating world full of life and activity organized in exemplary fashion, and where discarnate spirits go through steps of recovery and spiritual education supervised by high order spirits. Nosso Lar enables us to see beforehand the spirit world that awaits us when we abandon the corporeal body through physical death."

The first round of Gina Devee's The Academy, coaching and business program, has come to a close. With approximately 100 graduating with their Divine Living Coaching Certification, I'm interested in knowing how they have transformed in life and business in the last year.
I'm diving in with some of The Academy Queens and asking questions like, "What was it about Gina's program that had you say, "Yes!"?" as well as, "What were your challenges in letting go of the "practical path" and how did you handle them?" and "What is your best piece of advice for women who are ready to break free of the practical path, discover their passion and share their truth?".

Health Guru, Beverly Nadler talks about "Healing With Crystals And Gems."
Everything is energy, and energy is made up of vibrations of different frequencies. Some vibrational frequencies have a negative effect upon us and others affect us positively -- mentally, emotionally and even physically. Crystals and gems are beautiful to look at and touch, and more important, when you wear them as jewelry or they are part of your home or office décor, these wonderful stones radiate powerful healing energy.
On today’s show, Beverly will describe the properties of some of the most popular gemstones and crystals. Because our mind is so powerful, when you know the properties of these stones, this knowledge makes them even more powerful and more beneficial, especially when you focus attention on them.
Patricia Hirsch, MCC, interviews Gail Rappolt, PCC. In what ways do I keep myself stuck by not having the difficult conversations that would truly make a difference to me and the other? Why do I assume that raising something that has been concerning me will have a negative outcome? I demean others when I deprive them of feedback that lets them know the impact of their behavior on me. When I give feedback that is descriptive, situational and owns the behavior’s impact on me and when I give it in the spirit of love – not blame nor defensiveness, I offer a gift. Ironically it is not only a gift to the other – it is a gift to self as well. I have taken action and often that action releases the tension and anxiety created by the situation and allows me to let go it. Join Gail to learn a feedback tool and some specific skills of preparing and delivering feedback that will help create a positive outcome for the conversation you need to have.
Gail is a dynamic and creative business coach. Her warmth, knowledge of human behaviour and positive energy form the basis of an outstanding learning opportunity for her clients. Her background as a successful leader and manager brings both awareness of the complexities faced by her clients and the coaching skills to help them find their own effective solutions.
Gail has a private coaching practice and has been an Associate of the Niagara Institute for many years. Her career path includes a number of senior management positions in the public sector at the municipal and provincial level. In her roles, she managed large departments and sites where she was involved in restructuring and change management, led cross-functional teams, and designed and developed new programs. She has also held significant positions of leadership in the volunteer sector.
