It is always a pleasure and so much fun to have Zoe Moon "ASTROLOGER TO THE STARS" on Red Velvet Media Blogtalk Radio. Zoe Moon began her journey as a singer/songwriter with BMG Music and Arista Records, traveling the country, connecting with others of varying spiritual disciplines, sharing song and insights, and honing her techniques as a reader. She worked in television and film where she connected with her first clients, a base which has grown by word of mouth, through referals. She works fulltime now as an astrologer. Zoe is a highly sought after astrologer to the entertainment industry. This is your chance to call in with personal questions. http://zoemoonastrology.blogspot.com
I always LOVE when Zoey comes on to my show .. Zoe publishes a weekly forecast of each astrological sign and can be found on Facebook , Her Blogger , and does a show here on the Blogtalk Radio network. Zoe grew up in a small town in Ohio and moved to Los Angeles to pursue music. She signed a publishing deal with BMG Music, recorded for the legendary Clive Davis's Arista Records and toured across two continents. She headlined her own shows and opened for many personal favorites including David Bowie, Sir Elton John, Beck, and Hole. Having been initiated into the esoteric world at a very young age, it was just natural for Zoe to read charts for those she met on the road, on set, in the studio, or at her concerts.Zoe means 'circle of life' and is the root word for zodiac, and like her name implies, she began to come full circle when the film industry began pursuing her to read for them. She has spent the last years as a much sought-after counselor in private readings for top directors, producers, actors, writers, and other insiders who are trying to time their premieres, shoot dates, auditions, casting calls, contracts, and find the right chemistry between actors.Zoe writes for Northwest Womans Magazine, OM Times Magazine, Manchester Gossip, Glitterball Magazine, The Cosmic Path, Astrology Scopes, and Zoe Moon Astrology. She is in development with a new tv show to be announced shortly. http://zoemoonastrology.blogspot.com
In this pre recorded show I talk to "Joint Information Center" about the current situation in Santa Barbara and the oil spill. Make sure to be prepared to take down the website and Phone number you may call to volunteer or help!
This Oil Spill has affected so many people and our wildlife in so many ways and they are working round the clock to help however they can ..It was enough to prompt Gov. Jerry Brown to declare a state of emergency for Santa Barbara County.
The cleanup could last months, officials said. For now, currents, tides and winds make the oil plume "a moving target" as it drifts offshore, said U.S. Coast Guard Capt. Jennifer Williams.
"It's a continual effort," added U.S. Coast Guard Chief Petty Officer David Mosley. "It's not something that we can say, 'Yeah, we are hitting it out of the park,' but it's something our guys are dedicated to."
The size of the spill, which began contaminating California's beaches on Tuesday, is equivalent to the volume of water the average American residence uses in a year.
As of Thursday, vessels had skimmed 7,770 gallons of oily water from the ocean, McMichael said.
The Playground of Life: Charitable New Book of Poetry, from London Writer, Examines War Between Ego & the Divine Self.John Lennon was absolutely right, the world needs more love. Nobody knows this better than S.R. Lore who, after being diagnosed with a long-term health condition, has spent her entire life seeing the world from a critical yet positive perspective. She, like Lennon, is committed to bringing more humanity and peace to life’s proceedings. As an accomplished poet, Lore is finally publishing her first collection titled ‘The Playground of Life’ a small book with a boundless and powerful big message. The poems in 'The Playground of Life' are mostly from personal experiences on reflection. It analyses life and relationships, especially, love. As some of the poems are written at different periods in the author's life the tone and mood changes to reflect that time and situation.Furthermore, because S.R.Lore grew up with a long-term health condition, she started exploring the meaning of life from a spiritual aspect from an early age. The poems also relate to the conflicted role that one has with oneself when it comes to spiritual matters which she call 'the war between the ego and the divine self'. “I, like millions, have always struggled in a battle between spirituality and the ego. While most let these forces pass them by, I saw it as the perfect topic to focus on through poetry,” explains Lore. “It carries a very transformative message that the world needs to hear, particularly at the current time when discord has never been more prevalent.”But Lore’s project is far from personal gain, as she proudly explains.“50% of each sale will be donated to the UCL Hospital and FareShare, two organizations that have benefited me personally yet suffer from a severe lack of funding.‘The Playground of Life’, from Spiderwize, http://amzn.to/1BPSWLW
Nothing directly affects our health, wellness and longevity more than the water we drink, cook and shower with. We're told it's healthy for us to swallow in a glass of water but then again toothpaste companies are forced to warn us to call a Poison Control Center if we swallow the equivalent dose in toothpaste. ? It's affecting everybody's health and well-being. Harvard School of Medicine links Fluoride to Reduced Children's IQ, Improper Brain Development and Cognitive Disorders. Singer/Bass Player Jeff Piccinini also known as Geoff Myles (aka) former original bassist for the legendary British punk rock bands Stormtrooper and Chelsea with Nashville guitarist Ernie Brady who formed Revenant in 2009 and are established with Chris Carpiniello on drums.
Musically this band blends the elements of a modern power trio, British rock and Jeff's and Chris's punk rock roots "Emerging From the Darkness" is the latest offering by the band that delivers an energetic vocal style with hook laden bass lines heralding old school guitar riffs with a modern edge all driven by the relentless energy of Chris Carpiniello on drums. .
Join Holly Stephey as she talks to Ed Kleinman who in his words "This is my journey from listening to the bands of the mid 1950's to working with bands in the 60's and 70's. It is filled with stories regarding musicians in a time where the music industry was changing as quickly as the social and political climate."
One tells a story of days gone by. A flash of your history, a snapshot of an instant.
Be it a minute, an hour, a day, or a year, it matters none.
Something jogs your brain cells where past history is stored.
You smile, and you think you have something worth telling.
*Ed Kleinman’s story chronicles his 18 years in the music industry from 1966 to 1984. He started as a part-time roadie making just enough money to buy cigarettes and put gas into his car. Eventually, he was able to hang out with musicians and tell lovely young ladies, “I’m with a band. You wanna meet one of ‘em?”
It tells how he was able to form his own entertainment company until he left the business world of rock and roll.
Those years brought a great deal of change to the music world and to all corners of society. The youth fought for equality for all, protested the Vietnam War and marched against it. The music got stronger, more political and more active in supporting change.
The 18 years he had in the music industry helped him further his career and enrich his sales force development role.
Join him as he reminisces and relives his rock and roll journey.
