Life, Love and things that matter!
Six years after her highly praised album, "The Shape of Things", the release of two singles, and a recent 5-week tour in Europe, Sheila Swift has released anticipated EP, "The Striving is Over". In this new EP, Sheila proves that she is not just a one trick pony coming from "Daisy", but a well-rounded, all natural musical artist."The Striving is Over", is Sheila Swift's most personal album yet. The musically talented songwriter uncovers herself in this album, presenting songs inspired during personal life experiences. In her EP, each track delivers its own uplifting positive message. This album holds themes revolving around life. The songs in the album cover themes such as tension in marital life, letting go of the past and moving forward, while remembering about the good in life and reconnecting to one's own roots. Sheila Swift proves her artistic creativity by adding a natural flow in the order of tracks in "The Striving is Over". Track after track, the three song EP tells a story. From the first track to the last, the emotional and powerful lyrics, that Sheila's vocals give life to, depict defining moments for her.Following "The Striving is Over", Sheila Swift has more musical endeavors up her sleeve with a vinyl album release by the end of the year.Sheila Swift has evolved into a fully-fledged rock singer, largely leaving behind the pop-rock leanings of her previous work in favor of a more pure rock sound which shines through on the new material. Sheila played at the South By Southwest Music Festival, in Austin, Texas, as well as a showcase at House of Blues Houston and has finished a 5 week European tour in Germany and the Netherlands, with guitarist Ben Jarrad, where ecstatic fans described her as a mix of Gwen Stefani and Neil Young. A multi-talented artist, Sheila also incorporates her passion for the arts in her music.
Zoe Moon began her journey as a singer/songwriter with BMG Music and Arista Records, traveling the country, connecting with others of varying spiritual disciplines, sharing song and insights, and honing her techniques as a reader. She worked in television and film where she connected with her first clients, a base which has grown by word of mouth, through referals. She works fulltime now as an astrologer, writing here and for GlitterBall Magazine, Manchester Gossip, The Cosmic Path, OM Times Magazine,Northwest Woman's Magazine, and Vault of Heaven. Zoes understanding of artists and the industry has made her indispensable to many but her popularity crosses all lines as is evidenced by her exuberant following on The Zoe Moon Astrology Show, a live one hour radio show on blogtalk radio . She also makes frequent appearances as a favorite guest on several other shows.
One of her personal quotes , It's a crime that we aren't taught how to maneuver our unique energy patterns. We know our heritage, we understand DNA and yet we are blind to the energetic blue print we carry. It is time that this changed and I am on a mission to change it. Zoe Moon.

RJ’s a city boy with swamp water in his veins, a profound disappointment to his parents, and the banjo-wielding front man of the blues rock show band Dance Hall Pimps. RJ’s Americana solo project fuses moody dark troubadour, classic smoky jazz, blues, and rock—taking him back to the days of playing music in bad places and sometimes fighting his way out of there. His unconventional use of plectrum banjo caught the attention of Deering Banjo Company, which included him among Deering’s sponsored artists. In 2009, RJ launched his first band the Dance Hall Pimps, who were quickly approached by two record labels. In 2012, the Dance Hall Pimps released their debut LP, Beast for Love, on Lakeshore Records. RJ and the Dance Hall Pimps recently released their second LP The Dead Don’t Walk—which dropped November 5, 2013 (Growling Moon Records).John Schneider (Dukes of Hazzard) asked RJ to write the title track to his horror/comedy “SMOTHERED”. Six Dance Hall Pimps tracks are also on the soundtrack.RJ is currently working on his solo album, due out in 2014. There’s talk of him going to New Orleans to make the record.

The CD, which was recorded with help from David Bryson (Counting Crows) and Jerry Becker (Train), held a spot in the 10-best selling albums on CD Baby for weeks. In addition to 12 new songs, the CD also includes Megan’s first official music video, written and directed by Matthew Ward. The video has earned 18,000 plays on Vimeo and You Tube combined. A teenage, heavily eyelinered Joan Jett mischievously flipping someone off a leering Steve Jones grabbing his crotch in an LA apartment building pool shortly after the break up of the Sex Pistols the usually reclusive Dylan posing gamely in the dressing room of the Roxy on the Sunset Strip the photographer Brad Elterman not only hung out with all the coolest people in West Coast rock n’ roll in the late 70s and early 80s he also knew how to take their picture in such a way that would capture that moment’s precise essence. For nearly three decades, Elterman gave up photography, & stowed away his cameras and the iconic photos he took during that era. Luckily for us, over the past several years, Elterman has begun to exhibit these pictures in art venues, in print and online, and, aided by their newfound popularity on his Tumblr, has even returned to photography, drawn by contemporary pop culture and the encouragement of his internet fans. From the platinum tinted shag hairdos of teenage glam rockers to the bare breasted shenanigans of coked-up south Cali party girls this is a pre-AIDS and pre-rehab world where the sun never sets and the party never ends. Elterman saw it all, and his images faithfully record that world as he knew and experienced it. Indeed, one of the signatures of Elterman’s photography is its insidery feel. Unlike the cruelty of today’s paparazzi images, Elterman’s photographs are relaxed, chilled out. You sense a certain privileged intimacy between photographer and subject a privilege that is in turn extends to the spectator. Which makes the experience of looking at these pictures today all the more bittersweet. We’re thankful to these images for still having the power to transport us to a moment that was, but we’re also aware that the world they depict, with its innocent recklessness, is one that is unfortunately but inevitably long gone.
